I tried looking but couldn't find an answer on here or Google--

I'm a US player and haven't withdrawn from UB since the NeTeller debacle. Now that I'm looking to get some money out, I checked the UB site and it looks like having a check mailed to me is the best bet (no surprise since that's what FT and PS have been doing).

1) It looks like there's no fee on UB's end to process getting a check into the regular mail-- am I correct on that?

2) I noticed this disclaimer on UB's site:

"Please note, your bank MAY charge you a fee to process the check. You may wish to verify this information before cashing out."

I've never heard of a bank that I had an account at charging a fee to cash or deposit a check and I realize that UB sas there MAY be a fee to process the check-- not that there WILL be. I'm certainly no finance expert so I just wanted to see what everyone else's experience cashing out of UB has been. Is there something weird about the UB check to US banks? Was it a normal check to cash/deposit in your bank account? I did get a check from FT and it was drawn on a Wells Fargo Bank account-- no mention of FT or poker on it at all. Is UB any different?

It won't have any mention of UB on it at all. Also, depending on the size/teller/kind of bank they may have to hold it and wait for the payment to clear. There are check cashing places that will cash checks for no holds for a fee, but your local bank shouldn't. I had a check >$1k from Stars a couple months ago and it was cashed lickity split at my local credit union. However, some people have had problems at different banks.
