Have you guys any experience with Titan?

I play mostly 6-max NL$25 ring games, $10 SNG’s and $5 MTT’s. I have heard that Titan’s tourneys are very soft and most players are quite fishy. Their bonus sounds good and I also like their interface (Noble was my main site for ages).

Also I have read that PT & PAHUD will soon support iPoker sites.

So Titan all good?

Rakeback? Never looked at it. I am only 3-tabling the 6-max $25NL tables. Without wanting to hi-jack my own thread but is there a min limit for Rakebacks?

Titans sngs are good. Not much action for 25NL (they have
20NL btw). If u want to clear bonus 50Nl is minumum.

SnGs are only games I have made decent money at Titan.

(I dont know about high stakes though).

silu_nz,

There are actually quite a few things that are an advantage at Titan. For one thing, the point system is one of the easiest as far as getting your match bonus of 100% up to $500 and you have the vip levels which help you earn them at a faster rate.

As far as tournaments, Titan's known for being among the best including the free rolls and the buy-ins.

One definite plus is that if you are from a site like this one, you get access to an exclusive tournament for anywhere ranging from $200 to $400 every two weeks or so and sometimes access will be given to other exclusive tournaments as a bonus.

Another big benefit is the online support feature where most sites have email support this one has instant chat support.

TruePokerShark has been great about setting up custom FTR freerolls for us at Titan. We enjoy recommending rooms like Titan Poker and Sun Poker where we have nice contacts like TruePokerShark and Mark.

Thanks for the replies. I actually signed up with Titan last night and ran right into a problem when one of their reps told me the wrong thing and I was seriously pissed off. However, the supervisor apologized profously and issued me with a token for that NFL tourney thingy!?

One reason why I signed up with Titan was their tourney schedule. I am also on Poker Stars but I was looking for a site where I can earn a good bonus while playing. Hopefully I can soon enter a FTR freeroll on Titan.

silu_nz,
I'm glad to hear things worked out!

Miffed22001,
The decision to eliminate rake back is one made by ipoker, which is our network. There's just so much going at Titan right now though that I hope you're in on the action.

We actually are about to hit our 2 year anniversary! Every Sunday for the next 4 Sundays starting September 3rd, we are having an exclusive $250 free roll tournament that is restricted to a select amount of websites including this one. So long as you are a member of flopturnriver and either downloaded from the right link and/or put in the bonus code 'ftriver' and if you're a new players, within 24 hours you can register so here are the details:

Sundays in September starting this Sunday at 6 pm ET
Prize pool: $250
Title: Sunday Private FR
Only requirement is put in correct bonus code when signing up.

There is a new Bonuscode for Titan: {competing code removed}
Deposit 50$ and get 25$ to your account + first deposit bonus!
But its only for new players....

{obvious spam - gutshot}

May be a stupid question... but Is more than one code allowed? I was considering Titan for the PokerOffice bonus.
Of course I have bad days...
Sometimes I'll go a whole day without quads.

I just got PO. I did it at TowerGaming because I had never heard of the site and I didn't want to waste the $500 titan bonus. You only need ~300 points at tower. The software is fine, but the interface is very confusing at first.

IF you are playing 100NL or higher you can ignore this.

Hi Again,
Hannes, and to everyone else you cannot place more than one bonus code when setting up an account at Titan Poker, since you're on Flopturnriver.com, the most respectful thing to do would be to put the ftriver bonus code. If you are already a member of another site and plan on using the bonus code for another site please don't post that information here.

Keep in mind as well that you'll be getting a chance to play in the weekly $250 freeroll on Sunday nights, among other benefits if you deposit through flopturnriver.com.

Cheers

Sry Shark. I only mentioned PO because FTR was where I had found out about it in the Tools of Poker area. So I'll accept half the blame for mentioning it.
–There's going to be plenty of time to sign up on the several dozen other site links thru FTR and I'll be more than happy to do so when my BR's 1st priority isn't making sure that the BR is still there tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Seeya on Titan.

Very hard to clear at the low limits. I played for almost 7 hours at $2/4 tables to get $10. it is ridiculous. I assume if you played at $5/10 you could clear faster, but at that high, $10 doesn't mean that much anyways.
