First off let me say I searched for other posts regarding this topic and did not come up with anything, so I apologize if this has been discussed before.

I am going to play in the main event this year. I'd like to tryin save myself the $10000 and see if I can get in via satellite. I thought pokerstars was the place for this but I just read their Tournament FAQ and found nothing about wsop satellites.

I thought for sure that moneymaker and raymer won satellites on pokerstars to get a seat in the main event?

RoyalVegas is running them every so often too.

And if you're up for testing your luck, you can enter the 'satellite" tourneys that for liek $5 that allow you entry into another tourney with a higher buy in which allows you entry into another tourney with an EVEN HIGHER buy in, which allows you entry into the tourney where you play for a WSOP seat.

And you use this seat to enter the WSOP, a tourney with an EVEN HIGHER buy in. :P

All for $5....provided you don't lose at any step of the way. :P

If not, they should. It's what most players strive for(a lot of wishfull amatuers) and what a source of income for the poker room.
