I'm not sure why I added some of those sites up there, because some of the software is just really really nasty, but I thought I'd make it fair. In fact, a poll about the worst software would probably be more interesting, because there's only going to be one winner of this one. Anyway, answers on a postcard please.

I've always found stars to have the overall best software. If they had some bonuses every now and again, or rakeback I would play there way way more. The client is fantastic though.

PartyPoker by far. Every other software out there that I've tried (which is a little more than half the list above, including Stars) seems cheap, unrefined, or laggy by comparison.

Our http://www.flopturnriver.com/reviews...oker-Rooms.php summary ranks PokerStars, FullTilt and UltimateBet very high for Interface(Software).

Party's software is fairly stable. It freezes up and bugs rarely, and if you get a mod it looks nice too.
The reason you play at party is for game selection, they have everyone else dominated in that regard.

True. Our rankings show that PartyPoker is excellent for Action.

1) party - i have been too lazy to get a skin, the cartoony default is pretty ugly but the software seems solid. also fast and intuitive. . not a fan of the slider i raise 1.17$!.
2) stars - its much better looking, i dont like the 9max, rather have 10max. but software is stable, however I have a bit of a harder time navigating it.
Last) pokerroom networks - slow, resource intensive.. kicks me out randomly from tables, i get the blackouts on my 2nd screen upper right table, thus i usually just 7 table.. also only allows 4 tables unless you join waitlists.... i do like the slider bar the best of any place though.

No disrespect to FTR, but all of the rankings are based on user reviews, which for some sites are too few or out of date to be meaningful. For example, EmpirePoker is highly ranked but the reviews are from 2005... since then, Empire was booted off the Party Skins network, among other things. I also think Party is much tougher than other sites nowadays, especially when it's bonus whoring week, due to the multi-tabling robots, loss of the skins, etc. But this is not reflected in the rankings.
If folks are looking for the most action, my recommendation is to check out a poker room that is part of a sports betting site. Those guys are total gamblers and usually suck at poker.

No disrespect taken. I agree that the rankings would be more meaningful if we could do a better job of getting our forum members to post rankings in this section more often. That said I think our rankings are more meaningful than some rankings at other sites because ours are dynamic and they are summaries from many different players.

I can't believe it, someone's voted for Bodog.
Stars is clearly the best by far. Party software is quick and stable but nothing like as slick. Alot of the other sites are just plain nasty.

I'd have to agree with stars, in that I generally have the best experience on that site. Honorable mention to Full Tilt, really like the look of it, but for some reason, it hurts my eyes after a few hours.

Nope, not joking at all. What I look for in a poker interface is one that is smooth, fast, makes sense, and gives me the necessary information effectively. Every other software I've tried feels slower than Party (think FT, for example), or lacks the refinement.

ive been a pokertards hater for a long time because their games are awful, but having played just about every room except full tilt, stars is so far ahead of the rest its unreal.
Party needs to get those retarded buttons fixed then it would be pretty close.
But obviously, retarded buttons dont make up in anyway the difference between party games and stars games.
i also dont know why people hate the ap software, ive 6+ tabled on their for long periods and never had any problems. Its much better say than bodog (which isnt bad now) or pokerroom, b2b etc
Like seen as im having a rant, dise needs to get some instant HH's and make it so you can more than 4 table. While the keep refusing to offer rb i think those games will stay soft.
