Lukie is on a distinguished road
Just something I'd like everyone to be aware of.. I know a lot of players on FTR play the middle stakes games. It shouldn't be a problem now, but I'd try to avoid this guy on the tables with all-in protection.

Copy of email from stars:

Hello Eric,

Thank you for bringing the play of Tiffany M to our attention. After
reviewing the play of this individual, I agree that the timing and
nature of this player's disconnects can be deemed suspicious. While
we can never be 100% certain that Tiffany M was intentionally
disconnecting, these disconnects are disruptive to our games and may
represent a threat to the integrity of our games. In response, I have
notified this player that his or her all-in privileges are being
suspended.

The help of players like yourself is integral to maintaining the
integrity of our games on PokerStars. If you see any further
suspicious activity from this individual or any other player, please
contact Support so that we can investigate and take action.

Thank you again for letting me be of assistance, and I hope you
continue to enjoy playing at PokerStars.

Regards,

Joanne

all-in protection/disconnect protection is so LAME. Ugh, I can't stand it, especially when it is so blatantly abused like this.

Re: TiffanyM cheater

lol lol cheating bitch, get her off!!

Thank you.
Been playing money poker for 34 years and decided in 2002 to try that TX Holdem game on TV. Then found Pokerstars in Summer 2005. Still not an overall winner but i am on a good trend and nearly there.

I have seen this tactic used 3 times now on PS, and was only complaining about this yesterday.

If I see this move in action again, I’ll be reporting it too.

i like partys option of having some tables with DP (presumably for ppl with sketchy connections) and the majority with NO DP whatsoever.

Im against disconnect protection, if you are playing 200NL then you should be able to afford to pay for a decent ISP. In a perfect world DP would be fine and no one would use it to their advanatge, but people will exploit any thing they can for a buck.

So maybe I am not against DP, with a site like Stars, who has amazing support then people using to their advantage will be stopped but I think it should only be in place if it is highly regulated.

I disagree. I was playing relatively high stakes on a dialup connection, should I be held against by others if I do accidentally disconnect?

Note: My current broadband is more sketchy than dialup ever was

perhaps in a DP situation the disco'd person should just be returned his contribution to the pot, but lose entitlement to opponent bets?

swiggidy will become famous soon enough
Then they would disconnect when the draw/A hit or the board paired.
