Big thanks for the advice!

I, like alot of people, opened my account at FT before i even knew what rakeback was and what FTR meant. I read a post on FTR about how you could still qualify for rakeback at FT so i fired them an email a week ago. I got my confirmation email today from RakeBackPros; 27% rakeback, the first deposit into my FT account due Aug 27th. Thanks again folks!

Did you email them after making your initial deposit?

You may have read my original post. I emailed them a few times and they took it under consideration then sure enough I was signed up! I had my account open for about a year prior.

Step 1: Email FT. They will respond that they dont offer rakeback but one of their affiliates, RakeBackPros does. FT forwards your info. to RakeBackPros.

Step 2: RakeBackPros emails you. Follow the link in the email and create an account.

Step 3: RakeBackPros then emails you confirming your account and outlining when your payments start.

Step 4: Go play poker.

Here is my original post on this: RakeBack from FTP after you've already signed up!

Doesn't work if you signed up under an affiliate that doesn't give rakeback.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Verified. I just did this last week. My account was not attached to any affiliate at all.

Me too! I'm pretty sure I didn't have any affiliate attached to my FTP account, but nonetheless this is awesome... I didn't even have to contact full tilt.

Got this today:

Thanks for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

You've asked about the possibility of receiving rakeback but at this time, Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players.

There are a number of affiliate companies which offer rakeback if players sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their website. However, it appears that you were referred to Full Tilt Poker from an affiliate which does not offer rakeback. We are unable to switch your account from this affiliate to another, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits this.

We understand that you are interested in such promotions in the future and if the situation changes, our players will be the first to know and we will contact you when we have more news.

Regards,

Kris

Am a direct signup through FTR( I know this because of entry into freerolls), so, do I need to name drop rakebackpros or what?

Keith will become famous soon enoughKeith will become famous soon enough
read spoonitnows reply earlier in this thread then search for previous threads on the subject.

Look at it from FTR's point of view, they offerthe freerolls and people can sign up take part and win some money. Then using that money and the advice that they receive on the forums they can build that roll up and start generating rake. Only then do FTR receive any recompense for the investment they have made funding the freerolls, servers, admin expense, advertising bandwidth etc.

You are now saying that you have taken the benefits, and now stuff FTR they can kiss goodbye to their return for bringing you to FTP. You may say that you were ignorant about rakeback when you signed up.Its mentioned plenty of times in the beginners forum. This thread is about people who signed up directly to Full tilt who are missing out on those extra benefits that FTR and other affiliates provide. For these people , if they say give me rakeback or i play elsewhere, its a no brainer that full tilt will reduce there cut of the rake income in order to keep receiving it.

As their reply to you states though, Full tilt has agreed with its affiliates that any customers they bring to the network will stay tagged to that affiliate as Full tilt get more income by having affiliates marketing and bringing fresh players in , than they lose by a few succesful players (winning money off the fish and cashing it out instead of it going round and round fish and it eventually all getting raked into FTP's pockets) saying give me rakeback or i leave.

If i join fulltilt through the websites like flopturnriver, pokernews, or pokerlisting, will i get 27% rakeback, and how will i get the rakeback payment?
I don't know why fulltiltpoker still keep this rakeback program. I think the Vip programs at pokerstars, partypoker, titan are much more easily to understand: the more rake you pay, the more % in rakeback you receive, and players can sign up directly on pokersite without losing their rakeback reward.
