Ok, I feel kinda stupid asking this, but can someone explain a little about rakeback and how it works? Also, I see people talking about getting rakeback on PP--I thought this was against their terms and conditions. Is there a way to get RB on PP/PS?

you get a % of the rake you generate back. its bad and illegal and you get killed if your found out on PP. bad boy.

Yeah, I understand that rakeback means "you get rake back." Thanks a bunch. I'm asking more along the lines of how does it work, and can you actually get it at PP and PS.

you sign up for site thru 3rd party. 3rd party gets money based on how much rake you pay. 3rd party then gives you a % back to keep you happy and playing.
what limits are you playing? how much rake per month do you generate?

I'm playing NL50 right now, soon to make the jump to 100--which is why I'm starting to wonder about rakeback. I'm not sure how much rake I generate--does PT keep track of that for you?

Ok, thanks. Just got PT (obviously) so I'm not sure how much per month. Looking at my stats and extrapolating from that, I'm guessing maybe 250-300 a month right now. As, I said soon to go up when I switch to 100 NL...

if ur playing poker get rakeback. It is always good no matter what limits you play.
Rb on party is not an issue we can discuss in public forums as far as i am aware.

There is two kinds of rackback (IMHO) -
Sanctioned -- it'll be there, it'll be there on time, it may outlive an affiliate
Unsanctioned -- good stuff anyway, but can disappear for many reasons. Fine to get it if you can, but don't go to extraordinary measure to get unsanctioned rakeback, and don't cry if the well dries up.
Party RB is the unsactioned variety.
I've never heard of Stars RB.
