Does anyone have a large sample size for the approximation of how much rake you pay per hand at 50nl and 100nl?

Right now I'm using ~$.033 per hand at 50nl and not sure for 100nl... can anyone toss some numbers around here?

Thanks!

All 6m @ Stars from HEM:

50NL: 333,904 hands - 167240 raked hands - $14361.8 rake paid

Edit: About .043/hand in rake.

Edit: Essentially the raked hands figure no longer matters since 6m uses the new VPP system. That rake hand figure is when it reaches minimum .40c rake.

I don't have PT3 here (I'm at work), but I have about 90K hands of 50NL 6max across 7-8 different sites, and from memory its about 0.45-0.50 per hand.

I'll check later and confirm.

EDIT: that would be $0.044 per hand.

How did you get that number?

14361.80/333904 hands = $0.043

I think you may have forgotten to write the zero.

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

Thanks for the numbers so far. The $ .033 / hand was full ring, so it would make sense that 6 max would be higher.

Jason is an unknown quantity at this point
I've played 44,666 hands @ $50NL so far and paid out $2,095.51 of rake @ PokerStars full ring which accounts for $0.046915 cents per hand. I haven't really studied my rake before, but it seems high. Are there some stakes that are particularly bad for the rake ... like $50NL?

I do start a lot of tables and play a good amount of heads up and shorthanded because of it @ full ring. I'm not sure how that would affect things.

Your rake is average for 6m 50nl.

Thanks for the numbers!

Haha! Rake also varies based on your vpip, maybe you play more hands than average? The numbers I've been given are $.033 at FR and $.045 at 6m.

I have 46K plus hands at 100NL almost exclusively PStars = $0.07100/hand.

**EDIT** 6MAX. Sorry, I thought this was all 6max since it was in SHNL forum. I guess I didn't realize I found it here too.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.
