Probably been discussed alot but I havent really found a good answer,
Now that Neteller is gone what is the service that Canadians are using, Im looking for something as close to Neteller as possible with the lowest fees (of course).
Thanks for any help.

I just got myself a USD bank account and USD Mastercard so I don't have to convert money if I need to use either of them. Neither of them have any fees either which is great. I also just opened a Moneybookers account and will open an Epassporte account when I get my Mastercard in the mail.
Hopefully between all those accounts I will be able to move money as cheaply (and easily) as possible.

So you used your credit card to deposit into moneybookers?
I have about 3000 in Neteller right now that I want to transfer somehow but the 1.9% is a pretty steep fee. I have a USD bank account right now and could probably get a USD credit card but I dont really see how that helps.

I like pie- What bank are you using and did you compare in between banks??
I was about to open one at TD, but am looking at Royal cuz its my bank, and they also have a high interest CAN$ acct with 4% interest...Did you look at Royal's USD accts?...
I might also transfer the US$ from the bank to ING, then convert to CAN$ b/c of their better exchange rates and interest.

Few questions for ya as I am in limbo since netteller was taken away from me.
For withdrawing are you going to get them to send you a check or are you donna use e passport? E passport is similar to netteller? Whats moneybookeers similar to netteller as well?

If there there is a poker r00m/casino/sportsbook that doesn't have Moneybookers or Epassporte as a deposit option I'll just use my credit card to deposit then just pay it off with money I have in my USD bank account.

I deposited money to a casino from Neteller before the deadline then made my initial deposit to my Moneybookers account from that casino.

I looked at all the major banks. I didn't care about interest rates because I plan on paying them off right away so I just wanted one with no annual fee. Bank of Montreal was the only one with that, I got a USD Mastercard and bank account from there.

When I have to withdrawal money I'll just figure out which way is the cheapest. For example, I withdrew money to Moneybookers from a casino and it was no charge, but when I tried from PokerStars there was a $10 fee. I think I'll have to take this on a site-by-site basis and just find the best option.
From what I gather so far Epassport and Moneybookers are similar to Neteller but there just charge different fees and I don't think they are widely accepted as Neteller was.

MONEYBOOKERS is working for me, I miss using my neteller debit card and getting my money in 15 minutes but waiting 3 days for a wire transfer is still allot faster than waiting for a check in the mail. I also like that they transfer my money directly to my US Dollar checking account at TD and it stays in US funds until I decide to convert it. I think there's another one called click-to-pay but the site that I'm playing on now accepts moneybookers and I'm happy with them until I wan to play on a site that doesn't accept them. With 2 or 3 e-wallets like MONEYBOOKERS , e-passporte and click-2-pay you'll probably have all the sites covered. I don't mind waiting 3 days, I cash out every Monday and on Thursday or Friday it's like having a paycheck waiting for me, makes it more like a "real" job. I can't just raid my bankroll wheneer I want to buy something.

The time it takes to withdraw or deposit isnt really a big thing for me as Ill probably only deposit once and withdraw at the end of the summer. The big thing for me is of course low fees (Im not going to pay $60 just to deposit my money). And Im really looking for something that will allow a EFT deposit from my checking account (USD account) like you could it Neteller. Does moneybookers allow this from Canada?

PAYMENT METHOD ---- FEE --------- PROCESSING TIME
Bank transfer --------------- free -------- 2-5 days [?]
Credit Card ------------------ 1.90 % ---- Instant [?]
I haven't had to upload funds from my bank yet because I keep winning dammit, lol, but this is the upload form so it's free to upload if you don't mind waiting. I funded my account by cashing out from my poker site to my moneybookers.
