who knows AP fairly well?
i played a bit of limit today and noticed something criminal. i already know the BBJ adds shitty rake, but WOW.
played .50/1 and won a $6 pot. $.30 went to rake (5%) and another $.50 went to BBJ. total of 13% of the pot went to the rake(s).
is BBJ taken as a minimum starting at $.50? i assume that $.50 is taken from every raked pot? however, as we move up, does that become more, or less, of a problem?
at microstakes, i cant see anyone beating the additional BBJ rake in a limit game.

As soon as a pot is raked 25 or more, 50c is raked on-top for the BBJ.
Pretty sure its a fixed amount and cannot go above 50c

BBJ rake is taken once the pot is raked for .25 or more. It is a flat .50 every time and it does not increase with larger pots. Yes, it can be a killer on the win rate at the lower stakes, but they do not have BBJ tables below .25/.50 in NLHE. I play those tables most of the time and the total rake (House rake plus BBJ rake) is about 7 PTBB/100. It's crazy. However, I still am profitable because the BBJ tables tend to attract new donks who love to spew chips.
