I signed up for PP via an affiliate website because they were offering a free bonus that they later reneged on. Now I don't want to make any deposits on the account since that affiliate will automatically get a % of all the rake revenue I generate for PP.

Is there a way for me to create a new account, or will PP ban me for having multiple accounts? Do I have to uninstall the PP app that I got from the affiliate and reinstall a clean copy? I'm pretty sure the affiliate-based app has a tracker built in so that all new accounts created with it get credited to the affiliate.

I'd appreciate help from anyone with insights into the PP affiliate program.

Thanks,
ChezJ

You can try to email party poker and report them for affiliate abuse. There are pretty hefty fines for people abusing the affiliate program I hear they can be over $10,000 for abusing it.

If not you can have them delete the account and possibly get a new one.

One other thing to try is move to different party skin, but keep that account and use it for Bonus whoring

Affiliates pay 30% of bonuses. A $100 bonus, they pay $30 of it.
Your 500 raked hands @.5/1 will only generate about $30 in rake of which they pull anywhere from 20-30%. So they get between $5-$12 while paying out $30.

So after 3-4 times of straight bonus whoring the account you can take some satisfaction that affiliate is losing money
