Hey

I recently signed up as a PP affiliate. If I tell my friend by word of mouth about my bonus code and he signs up with the code, and I get the commisson, is that allowed?

I'm pretty sure you're cool that way. In fact, I'm sure that's what the majority of party's affiliates do. They tell their friends, and then refer nobody else again.

ChezJ is an unknown quantity at this point
sorry, i must be missing something. why would you not be allowed to let your friend sign up through your affiliate site? isn't that kind of the whole point?

EasyT is on a distinguished road
I think he just means: Become an Affiliate. Sign up all 3 of your friends. Never do anything again.

I assume being an official Affiliate must get you a better deal than just referring the 3 guys straight up for the $50/$25.

Yep. You get a slightly better deal than the "refer a friend" option.

$65 bucks a Pop, or $75 a pop if you refer more than 10 a month.
Or of course you can do the long term residual rake as well.
