What exactly does setting up a private table or tournament on pokerstars entail? For example, can I just play my friends in a cash game, or set up a tourney with a few of my friends, or challenge my roommate to a game of online headsup? (without trying to click "register" really fast).

And if possible, how would I go about doing this?

Okay to answer my own question, and in case anybody else here was wondering:

I emailed PStars support, and they said that as long as you have earned 2000 FPPs on the lifetime of your account, setting up private tourneys is doable.

Also, private tables are doable anytime on partypoker. (PStars did not ssay this btw)
