Hey guys. I was just thinking, since PP has 4 different skins that are owned by four different companies, how does the rake work?
Does Empire get the rake if a person playing on Empire wins the hand and Party gets it if a person playing on their skin wins the hand?
I mean, it really doesn't matter to us, I suppose, since all the hands count under raked hand requirements :P, but I was just wondering how it all worked.
Any ideas?

As far as i know it's all one company so all the rake goes to party poker towers or whatever their HQ is, hence the term skin.

Oh. I was told differently. I thought that each site was owned by a different company, hence the differing reloads and competing marketing firms and such. I didn't think that it would make sense to compete against another skin of yourself when offering bonuses, so having each skin be owned by a different company intuitively made sense to me.
Are all the party skins owned by the same company?

No they are all owned independently except for I think PP also owns empire poker. I think they split it up like 25% to PP and the other 75% to the skin and the skin has to pay them an upfont payment to acquire the software.
