I thought I would share this interesting e-mail exchange I had with a PartyPoker support person.

Subject: female character[#991106]

Hello,

I have a question about the red-headed female character in the upper-left corner of the table in the partypoker client. What on earth is she wearing? It appears she is wearing white underwear on top of blue jeans? What exactly is the white garment?

Thanks,
TheNatural

I like how matter-of-fact they were with the response.
I suppose they couldn't just reply with "Why? You think she's hot?"

If that's the case, their graphic artists ought to find a new hobby.

It looks like she's wearing khaki's. It would be an awfully weird dress to have a belt in the waist.

Can any of the smarter folks here put up a picture of the character?

That way we can do some detailed analysis.

Very funny, but this is clearly the work of someone who has spent way too much time staring at a computer screen waiting on cards. After surfing FTR, reading e:mail, checking Yahoo, checking SI Swimsuit issue, reading the Victoria's Secret catalog, etc. etc. etc. a very close look at the characters on party makes sense.

Anybody notice the picture of John Lennon engraved in the trunk of the plant to the right of the dealer at Paradise?

Haha. I still don't see how that underwear on blue jeans is a full dress, or part of the table shading ...

Well, I'm going to get all designer-geeky here, so hold onto your panties. Here's what I think...

The customer service rep is all wrong. He was probably referring to the other girl avatar with the red dress. This female avatar is not wearing a dress at all. It appears to be khaki slacks. And the table does not cast any shadows on the avatars at all.

The illusion of panties-over-jeans is due to poor lighting on the 3D render. The light source is directly in front of her, not above her (evidenced by the lack of a highlight on the very TOP of her head and the front of her face being clearly lit). Now, imagine a bright flashlight pointed at her torso from directly in front of her at crotch-height (mid-section when seated). Her pelvic region faces this flashlight (directly ahead of her), but the TOP of her thighs do not (they face up.. towards the "sky"). So, her pelvis is clearly lit, but the tops of her thighs are still in the dark (since the single brightest light source is in front of her mid-section).

This gives the appearance of light-colored underwear over dark-colored pants.

Xianti, I think that makes sense. So should I e-mail PP Tech Support and ask them to fix that?

I've always wondered about this myself and seems to be a topic of discussion when any woman joins the table and sits at the chair.

I don't like the bs response PartyPoker gave you. There is in no way, shape or form that what she is wearing is considered a dress.

I popped into the graphics folder of my partypoker directory and enlarged and enhanced the photo used for this player. The shirt looks like a button up, long sleeve blouse. The pants, look like either blue jeans or a dark blue colored pants. The white section that honestly looks like a pair of faded cotton panties from WalMart or Target is clearly seperated from the rest of the pants, as if it were an overlay of some kind. Upon a greater look, there is a tad bit of a peach color directly above the pants or what appears to be the "belt" This must of course be the color of her skin. What dress shows skin mid-rif in this fashion?

It's safe to assume this woman mistakenly put her cotton panties on over her jeans while coming to the PartyPoker Casino and still to this moment, does not realize.

Always jam the pot preflop with
