Can't find any info on this so I thought I'd check here...
I'm obviously trying to earn my first deposit bonus but the accumulation of VPP's at 2 or 5NL is incredibly slow.
I know the site gives you 1 point for every hand raked at .40 or above, but what I'm wondering is if they give you partial points - meaning if I play a raked hand that only rakes .05 (most common at my level) do they give me 1/8th of a point and it builds from there? Or is it only hands that actually hit that number?
I need to get another 450 VPPs to release my bonus so if this is true then I basically need to play about 3,500 raked hands to earn it so I just want to know.
Sorry for the newbie question but nowhere online seems to be able to confirm or deny this.

Stars does not give partial points, afaik. The rake has to be at least .40 or you get nothing.

Isn't it true that they round up to the nearest vpp on SnG rake though?..

So you click their picture and then you get their money?

This. Which equivalents to $8 pot. And obv you won't find many 8+ pots at 2-5nl.

SnG's do round up which I find which is interesting considering they don't do partial points for ring games. Somewhere else I've read one of the best ways to clear the bonuses is to play Omaha or Omaha H/L since the pots tend to get much larger. Ofcourse if Omaha isn't your game, might be a bad idea.
