The top 9 finishers go on to another tourney and play for cash. (First place $100) Since at the moment I'm not playing online for cash, I'm looking for freerolls both for practice and the chance to make something for nothing. I've played in 3 of these so far at PS, and am finishing higher and higher. Yesterday I was 404 out of 4000. Previous 2 finishes were ~3100th (first time) and ~1400th (2nd time).

I played these a lot before I started playing for real money. They are almost hilarious with like 1000 people out in the first 15-20 minutes. Gonna be tough to finish two tourneys in the row in the top 9 though. Will take a lot of luck in those freerolls. Good luck.

i played them alot as well before i played real money, i placed 3rd out of 4900, and got to go into next tourney, but it was omaha which i had never played, i did do well tho about top 10% but didnt make the money
once I hit 3rd place out of 5000 it was a huge rush and that when i decided to make a deposit and do real money. good luck they are great practice, if you survive the crazzies at the start

I did the same thing. Placed in a free-roll(6th or 7th), and won a seat into an omaha tourney. I had never played omaha, so I didn't do well. At that time I didnt even know you had to use 2 hole cards and 3 community cards. It was not pretty.
Some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants won't help.
