Post subject: pokerstars connectivity problems

I guess this is the only place to ask this. Am I the only one unable to login on Pokerstars?
The progam comes up, the "connecting" window shows up, the bar goes back and forth forever. After 2-3 minutes, it says "unable to establish a connection to the server". According to the connection status window, I have a 100% conncection to the Pokerstars server, and all the others shown; all other internet activity is normal, including other poker sites.
Whats the deal? mind the pun

Try re-installing, or contact Poker Stars support.
I had the same problem with Full Tilt. Some times I would connect with no problems, other times I would try all night and never get on. I re-installed and I have been able to connect every time.

reinstalled from the PS website, no help. Already emailed them, how long do they take to respond? Im not impatient, I just dont like waiting

It seems my CMOS battery has gone bad. The computer was off for a few hours over the weekend, so the clock and date were off by a couple years. This was preventing me from logging in. Weird
