Just wondering if any of you have played on Gus Hansen sponsored room: Poker Champs?
Any comments?

I tried it and the best way I can sum it up with is "meh". Nothing really seperated it from all the other ho hum rooms.

I started off there. Made a couple thousand and moved on, since the stakes are empty as you move up. Read the rakeback review for Pokerchamps, and you'll see why it's good for a beginning player.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I found the tables too small unless you are in one table mode. If you have a regular CRT you can just adjust the screen resultion and make it work though. Unfortunately, this doesn't work well with LCD displays. Mine is a 1280 X 1024 19 inch and multitabling was useless at that resolution. (e.g., when 2 tabling, both tables are crammed into a 1024 X 768 box.)

A higher res monitor would be nice, but in this case the tables would be even smaller (unless the screen was 23 inch+).
The other setting the site supports are:
800 X 600 (1 table)
1024 X 768 (2 tables)
1152 X 864 (4 tables)
1600 X 1200 (6 tables)
