I just cleared my first promotion with PSO and they required me to send in my Driver's Licence to verify my ID.
I have a problem sending my ID over the internet to someone.
I offered my College ID but they insist on seeing my licence.
Is there another way to Identify myself or should I just give up on PSO?

I'd still like to avoid putting any part of my licence on the internet if possible. I'm just kind of paranoid about that sort of stuff.

I would do just what they want. I'm a PSO customer and I wouldn't mind sending them this info. Just hide all information except your name and address (they already have that info anyway).
They probably believe that you might be trying to open mutiple accounts and just want to verify if the infos you gave them match your true identity.
Don't give up on PSO. It is definetaly worth the little hassle.

They have my college address. I didn't give them my (parents) home address which is on my licence. For two reasons:
I will be getting diliveries on campus.
and
I don't want these guys calling my parents, who have just accepted my poker playing.
The only reason I haven't alrady given up on PSO is because I already completed a promotion for 6000 points (but for some reason they didn't ask for my ID until afterwards).

They didn't ask for your ID until afterwards because there is no reason to.
Either
A) Just give them your info.
or
B) Lose out on what you earned.
Personally, I'd take what I earned. This is a standard practice for things like this. I don't see why people are so paranoid over things like this. If you are that paranoid why are you using the internet? I can hack you!!!

The only time they want ID is to verify your age before something like Instant Bankroll. I've been dealing with these guys for a long time now and have had no issues. Send the info, and feel ok doing it.

I've never understood why people are so worried about this, and not at all worried about handing some stranger a check with information on it thats much more dangerous.
MUCH more dangerous....
