Just got an e-mail from Poker Champs. 100% bonus up to $500. I have never played there although I have checked it out before and thought about giving it a try. How hard is it to clear bonus there? Read there conditions but makes no sense at all. Is there enough traffic to multi table?
I like to play the .50/1 fixed to clear bonuses. How are thier tournements ?maybe worth a small deposit just to try out?

I've only heard good things, except for the number of players being low. I've not heard of them offering sizable bonuses. Can you give details? Is there a code? I'm not on their email list.

There are other posts on FTR -- use the search feature -- "Poker Champs"
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

Doesn't look like you'll need a code.

I played some free rolls there way back in the day. I personally could not stand the software, and thought it was the worst ever. While I hate the software, I would never let that be a major decision in whether or not I play there. I'll probably give it a shot sometime soon.

I heard there's some weirdo pyramid scheme going on over there. And that's definitely not a good thing.
Light years ahead of the competition.

I don't know. I wouldn't be so quick to throw out the "P" word. Sometimes people have no understanding of legit multi level marketing, or affiliate marketing. From what I remember, they have one of the best rake back programs and supposedly work hard to take care of their affiliate sales folks.
Come to think of it, I am gonna go become an affiliate right now and peep it all. Hell it's got Hansens name on it. That right there will reel in skools of guppies.

While Hansen may play like a nutcase, I seriously doubt he conducts his business in the same manner. If I'm wrong I would love to see some link or article that makes the accusation.

The software is spectacular. It is the BEST I've ever played on. You can play a tourney and have the tourney window popped up underneath to scope your exact position in that tourney (great for big tournaments). You can key players and notify them when your on. It even has a map of the world showing you where everyone at your table comes from with red dots. When you get disconnected it instantly reconnects, logs you in, and pops you back onto your table. No hassle.

Here's the best feature of PokerChamps. Card randomness. It is outstanding. The algorithm they use for random shuffling must be phenomenal. It plays like brick and mortar!

Eventually you'll be able to do everything and more than you can do on other sites. What exactly can't you stand about it? I mean they are still constructing, but it will be the best around when completed.

Your ridicule is borderline blasphemous. I can think of 2000 other sites that suck worse than this one.

POKER CHAMPS FOREVER!

Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I just don't think it is visually stimulating. I should of been more clear about what I did not like. It has been months and months since I have played there, and I imagine it must be better now. A few months ago the software was really slow, and seemed to freeze up on me about 30% of the time I tried to register for the tourny's.

But like I said, I would never judge a site on bs like that. I can deal with slow and an unattractive interface if the site is profitable.

Good to hear you like Poker Champs so much. They must be doing something right. After finishing up a bunch of bonuses I'll head back over there and hopefully be happier with their room.

You should. If not for anything else than for the automatic rake back program. Payday every friday! Also, a 100% match bonus right now. The software doesn't freeze up anymore. I haven't had it happen once in the time I've been playing there. Give it another shot.

I played a mixture of LHE and NL at levels like .50/1, 1/2 limit and $50 buyin NL. Only pulled $30somthing for the week -- 2tabling i think an hour or so a day.

Thank god I'm rolled up for 2/4 and 3/6 now. Unless you can play at those stakes, or play many hours a day, you'll have a bitch of a time getting all $500 by August 26.

And if you have to play many hours a day, it's probably not a cost-effective bonus.
