Hi lads,

I wonder what Partypoker mean by this;

Quote:
If you cash out any amount from your PartyPoker.com account during the Bonus Period, but prior to making the qualifying deposit, you are ineligible for the deposit bonus.
Am I allowed to cash out from PartyPoker to use that amount to activate the reload bonus code ? As I understand it I am, but I am not allowed to cash out the money I have redeposit till I have cleared the bonus. Anyone able to help me bring some light on this ?

Cheers

If you take out money after the bonus is announced, you can't subsequently deposit for the bonus.
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

For anyone that is doing the current party bonus ($100 for 1K hands, then $100 for the subsequent 1.5K hands, and $100 for an additonal 2K hands). Once you cleared the first part of the bonus, did the second part of it show up under "Pending Bonuses?" I just cleared the first part, but I don't see the additional offers listed....

I was really puzzled by this. I contacted support. Not every question was answered, but yours was...
No, nothing will appear.
And you will be awarded the bonus one day after your reach 1500 additional hands (and same for stage three)

And, by extrapolation, that means...
There will be no counter to assist you in watching your hands.
You will not know you hit your target, becuase your BR won't suddelnly jump by $100.

If you set up PT to read raked hands for you, you can track there. Never done it myself.
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

Lol... another nice move by Party. "We'll give you this bonus, but you're going to have to play a bunch of raked hands... and we won't tell you how many you played so you're gonna have to play a lot just to be sure."

In PokerTracker you can check your raked hands under the SUMMARY tab. You could track it that way if you compare the numbers before and after a session or if you're auto importing you can keep track while you play.

Couldnt you just keep bugging them daily through email and ask them how many raked hands you played for the second tier then the third tier. If enough people do this then next time they run a promo like this maybe they will set it up in their counter.

I doubt it would make a difference. Party did it this way for a reason. They want people to play more raked hands than they actually need to and most people will because they won't be able to track it. I supposse you could keep e-mailing them, but it's a pain in the ass and, again, most people won't bother doing it. I havent e-mailed Party support in a long time so I don't know how long they take to respond, but doesn't it take a few hours? You only have 3 days to clear the additional bonuses. Are you going to play then e-mail them, wait for them to respond, play some more, e-mail them again and wait for a response, play some more....

If I want to

Naw, I completely forgot about the 3 day deal. You make a very valid point. I wasnt planning on doing this bonus, but I think Im changing my mind.

I only got the 15%to75 bonus. So all I have to play is 750/1125/1500 or 3375 in 9 days for 225 in bonus.

How big a grind is Party right now at the 25NL levels?

You could track your time played to finish the first bonus and then adjust that accordingly for the second and third bonus. Then when you get around the expected time frame shoot them an email and start over on the next level time frame. That way you would be close on your guesstimate and your time spent on the next level would make up any you needed to complete the before level.

Wow, I just read that. I dont have a clue what Im talking about.

just as a warning about using pokertracker to count raked hands, I've started doing this bonus and Party has credited me with 987 raked hands. In pokertracker, it shows i've played 1515 hands, 1238 of them raked. uh, oh well.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

at 25nl full ring, I find that if you play 1000 hands, approx 500 of the Party counts as raked.

It has to be raked at 10 cents not 5 cents is why your raked count was different. They only count hands where the pot reaches 2 dollars. A lot of people thought when they changed their rake to start taking a nickel at 1 dollar it counted them as raked. It doesnt.

Not rocket science, but I figured out how to check raked hands with PokerTracker.
  • Ring tables
Last tab Preferences - set up to filter just your bonus period
Third tab - Game Notes, pick your player name on left
top right, Get All, and rake 0.01 FILTER
right across the top under the tab will tell you the number of raked hands out of the number of actual number of hands.
Have fun. I'm done with the 15x'er. I think I'll wander back over to B2B now.
I'm a know-it-all.

Are you talking six max or full ring games?
I think it's a little higher for 6max 25nl games.

FWIW, I've been three tabling the 25s all day and am running at a very consistent 125 raked hands an hour.

This was suprising to me, but it's absolutely correct. I thought it was from the first penny...but read carefully.

So in eeeee's post about how to use PokerTracker, adjust the rake to $0.10.

At NL50, 1,060 of 1,621 hands have been raked so far, which is 65%.

Took me just under 2k hands to get the first 750 raked at NL 25 Seems like the tables are playing a little tight. I couldn't get one that stayed over 25% VP$IP for any length of time.
