I'm not sure why people call Partypoker the fishiest site on the net. I returned to PP after a 6 month hiatus and the micro-stake (0.02/0.04) tables are as tight as ever. The average VP$IP in my last table was around 17%.

Is this to be expected at other micro-stake tables on other sites? Just curious.

Once you have player notes on 500 or so guys, you can just quickly open 10 tables and look where the retards are. Just one retard per table can make it worthwhile.
But omg, there are many nut campers and INSANELY passive players.
I think my by-far most common player note is "checks nuts oop on the river" - closely followed by "limped with AK - did not bet TPTK on any street" (I play PartyPoker)
There are so many of those, I still find it hard to believe how some players can only limp with a top 5% range, and never ever raise. How can you enjoy this game if consistently loose a little bit of money every session. How can that be fun?

If I only see a bunch of very nitty tables, I like to sit down at an empty table, and see if I can't get some guy heads-up. - HU most of these guys are such easy money... and short handed their passiveness will be way easier to exploit than on a full-ring table.

But I agree. I so want my money back on RedStarPoker - or some total fishcake site.
In a two hour session I leave 4 or 5 tables and join a new one, because they are getting too passive. Having everyone fold to the bb is not a rare occurrence.
