9 Handed Tables
Our new nine-player tables will offer faster games and more action! They are available on $1/$2 and $10/$20 Limit Hold’em games.
NO LIMIT AND POT LIMIT HOLD'EM PRIVATE TABLES
You can now create private No Limit as well as Pot Limit Hold'em tables. You will be able to choose between the following stakes:
$25
$50
$100
$200
More Info on Tournaments
To make sure you always have the most up-to-the-minute tournament information, we've added an extra feature in our tournament lobby. In the bottom right-hand corner, you will now find a "More Info" button that will take you directly to our tournament details page.
Your seat will never be taken again...
Have you ever tried to sit down at a table during busy times, only to find the seat has already been taken, after you have filled out the "buy-in information"? Well, this won’t happen again. From now on, whenever you click to take a seat, that particular seat will show to others as taken. You will then have 15 seconds to fill in the required information, after which the seat will no longer be reserved for you.

Are they keeping 10s and 9s or totally eliminating the 10s. I hope that never goes to NL tables i like playing with 10.

9-player tables are a stupid idea. I don't get that at all.
Of course they make more rake since more HPH, so it's a good idea for them but silly as far as players are concerned in my opinion.

"faster action?"
Are these going to be like those turbo tables that RoyalVegas offers?

great, so on top of the shitty rake at 1/2, now there is the added bonus of more blinds to pay per hour. yeesh.

I don't think so.
The Prima seven second tables are one of a kind as far as I know.

This argument isn't valid. You pay more blinds per hour but you also win more hands per hour.
I think the 9 player tables will be a good improvement. In fact, all these changes sound great to me. Now we can create private FTR tables on party!!

It is nice to only click once to select a seat. Sometime it was impossible to click to select a seat and then again to pay the tourney fee without someone else snagging it, especially when they were busy.
And hey my ROI is (edit: now 189%) since these changes!!
(Edit: 2-$20 SNGs 2 OTM, 4 $50 SNGs - 2 1st places, 2 OTM)
(Oh yes, I'm liking the new Party) (Yes I know the streak can't last but I feel it is a reflection of how I'm playing, not just luck. With this I'm up to about 17 buyins at $50 - might move to the $50 SNGs for good. I've done well at $20 and $50, for some reason the $30s don't treat me well)
BTW, someone at a tournament was giving some guy crap for his SNG record, like he could look it up. I poked around and couldn't find it. I'd be interested how to do this as I haven't kept the best records(I look at ROI more then ITM%). Anybody know?

And hey my ROI is 252% since these changes!!
(Two $20 SNGS OTM, 1 $50 SNG - 1st place)

I'm assuming that they played eachother a few times before in sng's and the player was probably recognized for losing. You have to love it when you see those guys in your games.

Saw an ad for Poker Prophecy while playing last night. Guess it could be somewhat useful to know who the losing players are, but you genearally can figure that out anyway. You still need to know how they play, not just that they lose a lot.
The guy I was referring to(who obviously bought it) was just being a real jerk and taunting the 'loser'. He took a bad beat from the guy early and I think he decided to look his record up at that point, found out he wasn't very good, and gave the guy hell til he busted out.

I think it's info that's good to know, but I dont want something like that influencing my play.
When someone goes makes a strong bet and I'm thinking about the call I dont want to say to myself "Well, pokerprophecy said he is xxxxxx type of player, so he's got to be bluffing." then call and see he's hit a monster.
