While playing off my Multipoker bonus last night I noticed that they are now taking $0.05 rake for the first $1 in the pot. Prior to this I believe that it was listed this way on the rake page ($0.05 rake per $1 pot) but they used to start raking at $2 ($0.10) rake.

Also, and I can't remember for certain, but I think they raised the max rake on the NL/PL tables from $2 to $3.

This is kind of a give and take. They are raking more but now it takes even less time to clear bonuses on this network because the rake occurs at a $1 pot.

Last night I garnered raked hands at the rate of 80.4% (1012 raked out of 1259 total). This is drastically up from the roughly 70-72% raked rate that I have historically experienced. This will cut whoring time way down.

Again, not sure if they actually raised the max rake for NL/PL from $2 to $3 but I think they did. This is most likely due to the inclusion of the micro-limit tables that they added to the Beginners section of the site.

Thoughts on this increase?

P.S. - PokerRoom also raised their rake earlier this week as well. Fucking online sites.

The max. rake on their PL and NL tables has always been $3. As for the bitching about rake... They provide us a service and we in turn pay for it as rake. It's not like tax on food or clothing. It's gambling...

They (Pskins) usually pay me between 5 cents and 20 cents per raked hand. They just gave me 20-30% more nickles per sitting. Schweet.

No, really.

70-72% of all hands are raked in the past? I'm sure I've seen that before too, but most of the time it's been about 50% of all hands are raked for me (with the old rake).

With the new rake this whole bonus whoring thing just got a lot easier for clearing 20 x's bonuses.

Rake has always been 5% up to $3 (except the new 100/200 LHE tables) when the pot hits $2, it should be raked $.10, I fail to see the problem here.

No probelem. I said that I couldn't remember if it was $3 max or $2.

The difference now is that they are actually raking at $1 now instead of $2. Makes clearing bonuses faster.

So...Can anyone tell me how many raked hands you guys are averaging per hour at NL25? How about NL50? Just give me a rough estimate if you can. I'm sure it depends on what day you're playing and at what time...

I'd know myself but my sample size isn't very big. I can definitely tell you that I am seeing at least a few more raked hands per hour, though.

Well omaha hi PL 25 I was playing on friday i cleared at like 93% or 94% - it was the highest clearing rate I have ever had even more than when I would always 4 table the 100s on hold em. I figured it was because the pots were raked at 1 dollar now. But then when I first start another session I waited until there was a 1 dollar pot where it was only raked a nickle and checked if it was counted as bonus raked - it wasnt - i checked it again - it wasnt - so Im dont think it counts em - maybe it did for like a day but I dont think it does anymore - usually I clear 25 PL omaha hi at like 80-85% somewhere. It was just wild games on friday i guess.
