Got an email from party poker today, 20% deposit bonus plus freerolls to a big tourny going out on TV, there are no conditions specified on the bonus so it's hopefully 5x and 30 days

I looked at the links and it is 5x
I also read the fine print and it said the freeroll was for UK residents only, but I thought the bonus might work for me anyway.... It didn't.

Well i brought it to your attention first, how was i to know they were going to let non UK people do it. Clearly UK people deserve their own reload as every other country has had one by now such as

Jesus Wwonka, you quote party verbatim and still manage to get it wrong, go read your own post.

Anyone registered for tonight's POKERACE freeroll ?
By the time I completed the EMPIRE bonus and made my deposit on PARTY registration was closed for this week. Guess I will be in next weeks.
6 heats - 25 places from 299 to go through to semis from each heat.
Then 42 from 150 get to the televised stage.
Can we have a roll call of UK players who are taking part. Must be a pretty good chance of someone getting to Cardiff.

I've still got 180 hands of Empire to clear as well so it looks like i'll not be playing this one. Do you think all the extra people using this reload have taken the seats or are all the entrants UK based?

I couldn't get into tonights, to my disgust, and have let PartyPoker know what I think about this. If they are letting non-UK residents play, then I think that is terrible.
Have just been watching tonight's tourney - 299 players in but only about 3 players have turned up per table, or so it seems! I don't know what is going on here!

The POKERACENOW reload was intended for UK residents only, but with forums such as this one all reload codes get shared worldwide within minutes. I guess that many non UK players have used the reload code and not realised that they have been entered in a freeroll, or for US players the start time of 14.50 EST probably does not suit.
With only 6 heats with 299 in each one it will not take long for all the freeroll seats to be taken. I reloaded on Tuesday morning so I am hoping to squeeze into one of the later heats. On the upside, with all the disconnects, with a little care, it should be easy to get into the last 25.
Don't know what Party Poker will do when they get to the semi final and realise that all the potential qualifiers for the final are from Europe, USA etc... Sounds like a major fuck up.
Bunthorne, let us know if you get a reply from PartyPoker.

I don't know exactly but the heats are running for 6 weeks so it might well be valid until the last heat.

I've e-mailed PartyPoker asking them to comment on two matters:
1. Last nights tournament had 599 competitors whilst the previous week's had 299 - how can they explain this as clearly this week's competitors were at a major disadvantage?
2. How can they justify allowing non-UK players to participate in the tournament?
I'll let you know what, if anything, they say.
