Last time I logged in I had 112 hands left to clear the Step 1 bonus. I have no plans to do anything more as there are jucier bonuses out there currently. So, I logged in tonight to finish it off and the popup said I cleared it already and I can go to Step 2. Now this is day 4, so I think they just gave it to because I was close enough at the end of day 3 and they want to entice me to continue. There's no way I cleared it because I kept track in PT.

Pretty strange right?

Step one used Party's normal bonus RH counter -- that one said yo were short too?
Your theory makes business sense, but it is new territory for them.
I'm skeptical, also, because PT doesn't count Party's RH method perfectly. If you are playing any hands with people sitting out, then the pot need not be raked a whole 10c to count.
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

Pot only needs to be raked 5 cents, not 10c. Well, at the 25NL level anyways.

EasyT recently posted an email from Party CS explaining that there needed to be at least a penny of rake for each player dealt cards in the hand.

I don't care what the email said. I just cleared 650 raked hands at 25NL and when the pot was raked 5cents, there was 1 hand less in the bonus counter (counts down instead of up now). I played 350 hands of it last night, so this is recent.

EasyT is on a distinguished road
Interesting. I would think that Party Poker could track the raked hands in accordance with their stated policy....they, like, have computers and stuff. :P

Good to know.
