Hello Graeme Taggart (XBones80),
Make The Switch at Paradise!
Paradise Poker is pleased to now offer our valued UK clients the option of using Switch and Solo debit cards for chip purchases.
As a one time offer, Paradise is pleased to offer a 20% bonus (up to $100) the first time you use your Switch or Solo card to make a purchase. This offer is good until July 31st.
To receive your 20% bonus, you simply need to enter SWITCH in the bonus code box when you purchase your chips at the Paradise cashier.
With Switch and Solo debit cards, you can make your purchase transactions in UK Sterling and have your bank statement show the same amount. At the cashier, simply select the Switch/Solo payment option and enter the amount you want to buy in Sterling. Paradise will instantly convert and credit your Paradise account in US dollars using the current world exchange rate (no fee added), but your purchases will appear on your bank statement as the original Sterling amount. No more bank issued exchange rates!
Thank you for playing at Paradise Poker and we look forward to seeing you at the tables.
Your Paradise Poker Marketing Team

Good news for us British folks
How we're supposed to guess the GBP amount to transfer to get the max bonus though, I'll never know.

I made the mistake of withdrawing directly from Empire and have had to fill out forms and such from the bank, I'm sure they will have admin problems with it too that they will need to charge me for.
The last cashout was done in Neteller which I have switched to sterling, they charged me £2 which wasn't to bad on a £585 cheque. The cheque has arrived and is addressed from barclays in London so it should whip through my bank
From now on I'm using Neteller for all cashouts. Does anyone know if they charge me for withdrawing $$ when I make a deposit in an online site ? I know they don't if its in $$ but I'm not sure if its in ££ ?

Hi Toasty,
I use neteller as well and as far as I am concerned it is free to deposit money into neteller, and then to a poker site. It is also free to withdraw money from from a poker site, and then withdrawing it from neteller.
The only times you are going to get charged is when you choose the insta-EFT which transfers money from your bank instantly into your neteller account rather than waiting a week for a normal EFT.
I also believe they charge you for checks but I'm not sure because I have my bank account directly linked to neteller so everytime I withdraw money from it, it goes directly into my bank account. Hope this helped.

"no-fee" exchange rate: 0.5416640 (1.8461629)

This is the rate they change TO dollars, not a bad rate methinks. Better than I can get for travel exchange!

That's a lot better than 1.88.
Neteller charges for checks but its only £2.00 so as long as you are cashing out a tidy sum occasionally I don't mind in the slightest.
