I play at pacific using the web based client. This thing disconnects constantly. Usually right in the middle of a hand your playing or a critical point in an SnG.

I'm so frustrated with this site. Their tech support staff is AWFUL. They suggested that i download the newest flash player to solve the issues (the client is java based). And then suggested that my version was out of date, based on my 'access' logs and sent me the link to download the windows pc client. After I pointed out that I've never accessed the site from the windows client they suggested that my account information was messed up and they made a mistake.

I've played 3 different sites and I've never seen anything as crappy as pacific. There is only one reason to play there, the many, many, many fish. Despite the single table limit the site has money making potential for good players. However I'm quickly finding that it's time to move on.

Last night was the final straw for me, I got disconnected while in a hand with trip 8's. Two others got a piece of the flop and there was some crazy betting in front of me. Well, the software dumped me, when I reconnected I saw a guy showdown a hand I could have beat for a really good sized pot (would have more than doubled me up).

It's so ironic that I, and presumably many others are willing to risk the constant disconnects at Pacific Poker due to the overwhelming number of fish. Do you think 888 knows...? Cares? Lol.

The next chapter in internet poker theory should include an EV vs. potential disconnect equation.

LOL, thats actually a good point. When I'm done clearing my bonus I'm going to cash out and go elsewhere.

Pacific has been VERY flakey over the last 3 days. The fish make up for it though.
