I had like $12 in my account from a bonus that I wasn't able to cash out when I first checked out Pacific. I hated the fact that they had no NL ring games and the software is utter garbage. I went back Friday after I read a couple reviews about how soft the NL SNGs were and decided to use the money I had in my account.

They have anywhere from 2+.20 up to 20+2 multitable SNG. They also have 5 man SNG and a bunch of limit SNGs as well.

I played in a 2+.20 SNG and sat out for the first 20 minutes while I finished an SNG at Paradise. When I started playing, blinds had gone up twice. They do it on time there and not number of hands which makes things go faster. First decent hadn I'm dealt, I raise pre-flop and get one caller. I didn't hit the flop then bet out 3/4 pot and took it down. Next hand I raise again pre-flop with some junk. I hit top pair weak kicker and get called all the way to the river and take another nice pot.

It didn't get "hard" until there were 3 players left. I got sick of trading blinds with a couple of the guys and finally went out in 3rd. Took $10 for my time. They pay down to 5th, so they payouts aren't that big, but it's fairly easy to get into the money. I'm going to look up the $8 game tonite.

Just started playing the 2 table $2+.20's on Tuesday. I've played 3 so far, finishing 5th ($2 buy-in back) twice and 2nd ($10 win) once. And you're right, these games are VERY soft.

people will fold on the river with more 1/2 their chips committed and the blinds at 1/4 - 1/3 their stack, or will fold to an "intimidation" bet of the exact value of their remaining stack; or call down with 2nd pair with an A on the board after a significant preflop raise (i.e. I have AKo, flop is AQJ, guy calls me down with something (A/10?) and goes out...sad really.)

I played another last night and got second.

The $8+.80 is just marginally better players. I played one last week and for whatever reason, my entry fee was never deducted from my account. Shhh.
I placed 7th I think.

I'll keep plugging at the 2+.20 for a bit.

LockLow, whats your name on Pacific? I'm 'mtnpoker'
