Just to let everyone know that PokerPages Software now offers Razz SnGs. Although Razz ring games are yet to appear, this is a good step forward for online poker.

Download PokerPages Software to play.

everybody hates razz, you're SUPPOSED to hate razz because its a fishing game, you never EARN a pot in razz.

That said, i wish they would include H.O.R.S.E. and razz in the WCOOP next year (I missed the PL Omaha event this year by 3 spots )

I think there is some skill in razz. It's like any other card game. Sit back, wait for the cards and maximize your profits. But a better low cards skill game is lowball. It's like razz, but played like 5 card draw rather than 7CS.

Sidenote: Did anyone ever play razz before the WSOP televised it? Am I the only one who knew what it was?
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I used to play it with my dad and his friends years ago. Once or twice a month we would play 7 CS and all the different variations including Razz. Everyone hates it, but we played it just about every other game.. I guess its a love hate kinda thing!!!!

I read the tiny little bit about it on Super System, so I knew it was just 7 Card Stud Low.

It's a love/hate thing, because when you try to purposely have bad hands. You wind up flopping the nuts more often than not. And you immediately wish you were playing the hi version of the game.

I prefer playing 5-draw, hi back to low. It starts out normal 5 draw hi, jacks or better to open; if nobody opens its A-5 low draw. Its a fun mix-up game in a dealer choice night.

If you want to learn some strategy, Mike Caro wrote the 5 draw chapter of Super System; the end of the chapter goes through this game pretty well.
Is that guy still part of the forum??
