Topic: Which online poker room do you play and why?

Currently I'm playing on poker stars off of freeroll'd money. I started this topic to help pick which website I'm going to permanently play on when I make my first deposit

pokerstars cos they have great software and a great rewards system.

if you're from outside of USA there are probably better places to play as a beginner tho...

You don't play sites permanently. you look for the best deal and the weakest players every day. If good bonus, RB or player reward program comes up you move. There is no loyalty here, it's about making money and convenience. You do what is best for you.

For me, in the first 6 months this year, I have played:

AP
UB
FT
Stars
Battlefield
Everest
Party
Cake

i am currently playing between Everest and NoIQ(iPoker) I play Everest when I have a monthly bonus to clear because the players suck and the bonus's are fairly easy to clear. I play most of my poker at iPoker right now because they have a RB style rewards program, I can use my HM hud and I have a bonus to clear. It also allows for datamining, which is great for a site you plan on grinding through stakes, since I can get hands recorded of any stake I want to play in the future.

Now I am not married to iPoker at all. The software kinda sucks, you can't re size the tables and the bonus's clear slowly. If something else comes along I will be gone again. Maybe I will try an Ongame or Boss site next.

I play on FTP and more recently PS. Most of my money is in PS, but I still have some cash on FTP.

I think FTP has the best software, but PS is a very close 2nd, especially with the new table and lobby skins. I always hated the look of the traditional PS table, but now that I can change it, I think it is very comparable to FTP.

If I were outside the US, I would probably play somewhere easier.

i play FT cos I went there to clear a deposit bonus of $600 and haven't got around to leaving. No reason to leave - I make money there, rakeback is good, always enough games going (I like to multitable) and the regs don't scare me now...
