Was playing on an omaha cash game yesterday, when the phone connection was pulled out of the socket, and i was disconnected. i went down and plugged it back in, and connected up again.

The table came up in the middle of a hand, all the cards were showing so i thought, the hand was over and hands declared.

But, then it asked me call a bet. First i thought the screen was frozen or something so pressed call, and the next player raised me. Fold, Fold and back to me to call.

As i could see his hand was better than mine i folded.
next hand was dealt as normal cards down!!

If this can happen by accident, i'm sure it is possible to do it through hacking of some sort.

I was playing on vcpoker.

In retrospect, should have called and seen the flop, and would have known who was winning. .
Also the guy i was playing against is a mate, and when i rang him, he didn't have a clue, i was the only one to the cards.!!!!

Delete and ban.

Where is the link to your "system" claiming you can cheat in online poker? See all the cards before they are dealt!

Read the post again. It wasn't his fault he saw all the cards, it was the poker client's.

I can't explain why that happened, probably just a software error, you might want to get in touch with support about that.

"Delete and ban"???

What, do you hacks on these boards actually WORK for these online shills? I know you pump their web sites and push their products, but now if someone describes some unique experience that MAY infer that online gaming sites are not as secure as Fort Knox, you are calling for that poster to be banned???

You're a friggin' shill. May I never see you in a B&M, cause I'll take your stack and then your wife and then your dignity.

About a week ago I sat down at a table and got my first hand dealt to me face down. Talk about having a WTF moment.

Your glitch was way better than my glitch.
Light years ahead of the competition.

I don't think it works that way. It is possible that the client showed *some* cards face up, but not nessecarily *the* cards the players held.

vc poker may have some sick bug, but there's no reason to send any information other than your hand to your client. the info about the other player's hands will only be sent to thier clients. this information is really valuable, and must be tightly controled.

again, i'm sure it showed you something, but probably not the real hands. think about reporting it, it's a bug, they should fix it.

poker rooms only send your cards to you, your software has no idea what the other cards are.

That can not happen.

talk about a 1 post troll.

Q. Is poker Gambling?
A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

Thank you whileone and Laeelin. In short, I don't believe this happened. The packet you get in your hand info not other peoples/the rest of the board. Why would this guy come here and make his FIRST POST about this. Wake the F up peeps.

I think I have an explanation

I play VC all the time

When in MTTs you obviously get moved tables every so often.

When I've been moved before, and am still siting out from having just arrived, cards (including "my own") are laid face up in front of me. They have always been blank for me, but perhaps in this instance they've been given their values from a previous hand while he was disconected. They probably were from the last one, not the curent.

If you are wondering then, since he was disconnected, why he had cards at all. I have gotten disconnected before, just yesterday infact. Once returned I was still given all the options, call, bet etc. but my actions meant nothing because so far as everything except my PC was concerned the game had moved on.

It's a glitch in what frankie's computer brought up, nobody else will have been aware I'm sure, it seems the logical explanation
Operation: 50 SNG's $1+0.10
Aim: +ve ROI

Fail: Repeat and improve
Succeed: 50 SNG's $2+0.20 & improve on previous ROI

Time: Open

Currently
Played: 17
ITM: 47.1%
ROI: 15.5%

This is why I patron FTR.

I've perused other sites and their forums are chock-full of unverifiable, the sky-is-falling, paranoid, rediculous, often laughable, ignorant, threads. Some shmoe posting about how his account got closed for playing a 'TRAP' bonus, who admitted in the post that he had 3 accounts at the same site. F'in 20 replies about the 'trap' and nobody sensible enough to tell the guy he fucked the goose by having 3 accounts.

There's a level-headedness at FTR that I appreciate.
And a flamer who's first post is a flat attempt to stir up contraversary deserves to be banned.

Come back later when you grow up, Frankie!

Woah woah woah!!!

---

everyone needs to CHILL OUT for one second. The very first post addresseed towards his was an attack on him; that might have been why he got all defensive.

And then we got defensive when he retaliated...and then...the cyclee goes on.

There has been a logical explanation to explain what happened here, so maybe that bug is what caused this.

There's no need to start BANNING people left and right...

a little level headed ness please.

Even if this is a "glitch" how do this prove online poker isn't "hack proof". I don't understand where the hack is.
