I was just about to start a 10x reload at RedKings but not sure what the impact of the change to the Ongame rake structure / poker points / contributed hands is.

Obviously the change to contributed hands is a disaster for full ring, but does it really change much if you are playing 2/4 5 max LHE ? After all you now get 1 point per $1 instead of 0.7 points per $1.

Let's assume that the total rake over x hands is pretty much the same. So for every $100 of rake....

Old system you get 100% * 0.7 * 100 = 70 points.

Now, I am assuming that contributed includes all hands in the blinds. So at 5 max if I fold every hand I am contributing to 40% of hands. My VP$IP is about 28. So I am playing at least one hand outside the blinds every circuit. So at a minimum I am contributing to 60% of pots (probably nearer 65%). So.....

New system you get minimum 60% * 1.0 * 100 = 60 points.

Anyone able to confirm this ? or tell me it's nonsense ?

good question.
Support are claiming your bonus clears 2.4 times faster which is lots of rubbish.

I *think* that with contributed rake bonuses the diff at 100nl will be that instaed of earning $7 per hour you earn about $2.5 instead.
Someone correct me coz i lost my database which i could have just looked at for figures
