I'm feeling down. So I cleared my first bonus whore adventure, at party, in like two days easy enough. My net winning......minus $7. I finished down over for buyins. It was mostly due to bad play, not letting go of a couple pairs and some AK hands. For the most part I think I was uncomfortable with the software so I should have 2 tabled instead of 4. I think the decisions were coming up too quick for me. That and having not many stats on anyone at the new site. Tighten up a little idiot!
Anyway, does anyone have any similar story to cheer me up a little? Nothing like going for free money and losing money. Hope I'm not the only one.

I'm feeling a little better. I'm doing the bonus at Hollywood and in just two sessions I'm up $80. It's been donkalicious so far. With one less suckout I'd be up $140.

With a new interface, play one table for a couple orbits. Then add another and do another couple orbits, etc. until you are comfortable. You really have to get comfortable or you could lose too much too quick. That's happened to me many times.
As far as bonus whoring - I play differently than regular. My goal is to break even or better and take the money and leave. Bonus whoring is for building a bankroll. Once you get a nice bankroll, then play some poker. That's just my advice.

Thanks red. I've realized this now. I wasn't playing tight enough especially considering I was at a new place and all. Was playing to win some money on top of bonus instead of being patient. I really didn't have to get invloved in many hands at all to break even and clear that bonus.
I've been much more patient at Hollywood. Though I like their interface a little better and am doing OK four tabling.

Just want to say that I know the feeling very well.
Last month I managed to donk off so much money on Empire that I lost more than the bonus and was a net loser.
If that wasn't bad enough this month I was playing on Royal Vegas where they give you the bonus up front and you need to clear the raked hands to withdraw. But I lost the $100 and $35 of my own and went off in shame
But I've just come off the Empire reload and taken the $100 bonus plus a profit of about $45... took an evening.
The difference? This time though I played tighter, just ABC stuff, multi-tabled like blazes and came home a winner. Whoring is about getting the hands in, beginning to see that now.
Hmmm. Bankrollicious.

B2B puts all your stories to shame......ask around. :P
It happens. Don't take it personally. You lost $107 and then they gave you $100. Meh. It's part of the territory. This is why Bwhoring is beneficial to both the novice and the advanced player.
BTW...I love hollywood too. I'm on there as we speak (type). Nice site. Good software. Excellent support. And they've given me a reload every month... and a t-shirt and two magazine subscriptions. The players sukk, too. I'm up $2,400 this week alone. It's the new PartyPoker!

Oops. Actually this is not the case. Just got an email from them saying I can't have the remains of my account I've still got 500 raked hands to play... strong chance that I'll wipe out that account before I clear that bonus!
