I've only played on PartyPoker, and I haven't played anywhere else. I've grinded to 1.4k, but have been thinking of trying new sites to bonus whore a bit to increase my BR. One of the first thing I'm looking for is to get a free copy of Hold'em Manager from one of the bonuses. A problem for me right now is that my credit card limit is only $500 Canadian Dollars, which equates to ~$470 USD, so I don't think I'd want to use my sign-up/first deposit bonuses that are >$500 USD, until I get my credit limit increased. Anybody have any good suggestions on where to start? Or possibly know a good combo of bonuses I can do?
Thanks in advance!

quick edit
um, Jyms, i'm not sure if this link is ok or not? delete it if there is a problem.
CD - I've found a FT link that gets you rakeback, full deposit bonus, and free HEM...
http://www.fastrakeback.com/rakeback...ilt-Poker.aspx
there is also a long thread about it on 2+2

ok, first thing you need to do is find an online money moving solution. Even if the credit card thing worked, you'd find yourself getting stung with currency conversion fees every time you switch $US <-> $Canadian. Another thing to consider (I don't know if this works!) is depositing money to your credit card = you're not reaching your credit card limit by making a bigger transaction = ask your bank if this works.
I'm not sure if Canadians can use Neteller (New Zealanders can) or Moneybookers - find out, and make sure to have it set up in $US.

nice work.
With a roll of $1.4k, I'm guessing that you're playing 25nl?
Given the size of your roll I think you should go with Full Tilt first - $600 sign up bonus + Rakeback. Make sure that you create your FT account via a rakeback affiliate! I think you should clear one bonus at a time, and start figuring out the "where next?" when you are nearing the end of the current bonus-grind. Start a new thread here each time, and list the sites you have already hit as well as the stakes that you play.
If so, you could simply pony up the cash to buy the micro HEM. Typically, getting HEM for free involves sacrificing Rakeback and/or first deposit bonuses - you're probably better off getting the cash as RB/bonus and using it to buy the software. You could also use some of your Party points to buy PT3 I think? seems that both software sets are rated pretty highly these days

Is moneybookers any good? I've heard from two friends that they had trouble withdrawing after using it for ebay. One of them took almost a month to resolve, which leads me to think that customer support is kind of shoddy.

Okay, I'll keep that in mind.

I did use party points to buy pt3 a while ago, but it's exclusive for PartyPoker, so I'd have to get it again anyways. I've tried the trial for HEM and found that I like that more.

you won't get better. It's the best rakeback rate available at FT, it's the best first deposit bonus available at FT, and you get HEM thrown in for free. Not a bad combo!

dunno, i use neteller exclusively.
I suggest that you start a new thread here asking about moneybookers.

Link is fine daven.
As for looking for sites and HM for free, pay for HM through he site. It's only $55 for the under $50NL version. Any bonus involving HM is going to cost you money. You will either lose RB or a ton of bonus money to earn it. I have seen some sites give $600 match bonus's or HM. Some give HM and you lose Rakeback. Just buy it. As for withdrawing, I use moneybooker exclusively tomove money around. I don't withdraw through them, I just use Party Poker EFT's. Party will ship checks, and you can use Stars/Full Tilt too a s long as you first withdraw the original amount back to moneybookers first. If your looking to grind the BR, and not withdraw immediately, get a good Bonus or Rakeback deal, get a moneybookers account in US dollars and use it to transfer around. When your ready to play for a bigger amount and start withdrawing, put your money on a safe site like Stars, FT or Party and grind your FPP, Partypoints or FT point bonus's and withdraw straight to yoru account. I think your from Canada so have faith in the big sites to be able to send checks or do EFT's. I have no issues and I withdraw almost every week from Party.

Moneybookers is excellent; it's quick, customer service is fast and thorough and yes, it can be used by Canadians.

do what Jyms tells ya!
also, this is interesting to me. I am a little paranoid about account hacks but want to keep a certain amount online for the reasons you mention above as well as shots at midstakes.
One of my approaches has been to spread eggs across a bunch of baskets, most recently this resulted in a cash windfall when I logged into an account I had kinda forgotten was a place i'd squirreled away a few buyins. Better is to get off my arse and use a stars account, equipped with RSA token, for all my online 'banking'.

Noooooooo! If you're non-US and serious about whoring, there's literally 30 other bonuses you should be doing before Full Tilt. It will take you something like 80K hands to clear it at 25NL. $600 is not a good return on that much play.
With a $1.4K roll and playing 25NL, you have plenty of options. I assume you play cash games? How many hands per month do you play on average?
Other than that, good advice from Daven and Jyms on Neteller/Moneybookers, spreading your money around a bit, and using somewhere like Stars to store a lot of cash.

cold-decked - pm tony and ask for advice. I've talked with him about this briefly, he has a better handle on micro-bonus-whoring for non-US than perhaps anyone else out there.
-> Tony, I was mostly suggesting the FT one cos he gets free HEM + Bonus + rakeback, not for speed of bonus clearing.
I also forget that most players can't comfortably push through 100k++ hands a month sometimes
