Houstonmark is on a distinguished road
No doubt FT and Pokerstars are the worst for donks, the shear number of players per tourny and the amount of time it takes to finish one is the reason. Who has 4-5 hours to play a tourny that pays so little at the end. If you finish 1st you would not have made minimum wage. I personally aquired my bankroll from freerolls and gained alot of experience along the way. That experience pays dividends now in sit-n-go rooms. You can start a bankroll from freerolls, but building one from freerolls only would be a lesson I would not care to learn.

yes that is true, but play poker for the game, don't play to make minimum wage if your new. If you really want to start playing for the hourly rate you need to put at least $500 if you care about hourly rate, but for now just play to learn.
