Hi I've just started using party poker and empire poker. I can't find on their sites how I cash out if I make my initial payment using a credit card. I know they may refund the credit back up to the amount of my initial payment, but how would I get the rest back? I'm not really interested in setting up any electronic funds acct (although if I have to, what's a good one to use from Canada?).

Thanks

***edit, ok so it appears as if I can use netteller from Canada (whoohoo) and most gaming sites accept it. I have created my account, when I log in there is only an option to deposit funds. Once I have deposited them something will there then be an option to transfer it back to my bank account? It looks like I'm going to have to wait a business week since the instaCASH feature couldn't verify me (I have an unlisted phone#) so I had to use Online Check. Once the funds appear I'll have the option to put them back into my regular bank account? Just wondering because I don't see that option now and this site is pretty crude. Thx!

Yeah you'll need to make a small deposit so they can verify your account. Once you've deposited, you'll be able to withdraw back into your neteller account pretty easily.

Then once the funds are in your neteller account you can get them transfered by neteller back into your bank account.

I wouldn't reccomend using the instacash (unless it is just for a small deposit so you can withdraw right away) because neteller charges you 8.9%.

If you deposit w/credit card, I'm pretty sure you can then withdraw to your new Neteller account from the poker room.
I'm a know-it-all.

No, really.

Thanks for the Q's. Well last night I mad e a small fortune on the $.5/$1 tables at poker and decided to cash out some of my money to my neteller account so I could then x-fer it back to my bank account. Well party get me confirmation right away that the transfer had been accepted, yet 8 hours later nothing is showing in neteller... hmmm do they have to call first? I thought it was only when verifying my own banking info that they'd call?

I don't know what room you deposited with, but often there is a waiting period after your initial deposit, as much as seven days. Also, if you've never used your Neteller before, except this first transfer from a poker room, you will have to contact Neteller to have your balance screen opened; their website will keep waiting for a bank deposit, not acknowleging the money came from another source.
