Question guys. I've always played at Poker (No Bonus) Stars. I'm very happy there and will continue playing there, buthave now decided to play multiple sites as many have suggested on this site. So I deposited money today at Absolute Poker, so I can play in the Gauntlet tonight. Now they have an initial deposit bonus of 50% if you use Neteller, which I did. They also have 20% bonus on on wednesdays, Am I gonna get both? Does anyone know? Or how I can find this out? Thanks guys. I've been at this site for a few days now and I think it's an awesome poker community.

What limit do you play?

The bonus at Absolute is very slow to clear unless you're playing NL $100 or thereabouts. I have $500 in my bonus account at Absolute, but they've only released $40 so far.

Take into account that for some reason I can't multi-table at Absolute. If I could, I might be further along.

I'm afraid I don't have the answer to your question about getting both bonuses.

That would be my guess... I play there also and can definatly Multi table.

Also like Easy mentioned the bonus' are very slow.... I have all but killed my BR on this site trying to collect a measly $76. And I have only got 10 so far, with about 9 hands to go to get another $10.

only way to clear a *raked hand* there is if the pot size is $5 or more, giving them a rake of $0.25 or more. Can be done at the 10/25c tables, slowly, 5/10c tables VERY slowly(like 1 hand per orbit if your lucky) or the 25/50c tables quick enough but this put me way out of my BR and a coulpe bad beats/suckouts and I was down a buy in and like half my BR...

I think Bonus whoring on these sites should be for people playin in the 100NL + as well. Anyone else is going to hurt their BR in the long run trying to cash in this bonus.

Only good thing is I have learned alot there, and in the event that I do bust out I will re-deposit, on PS this time, and work my way up from the micro limits following the BR management to a T. Too frustrating folding hands that you would most likely win anyways because of how big the pot is getting and how much of your BR is going into 1 hand.

But pref would be to work it up to $50 on the 5/10c tables then cash out and move that to PS.. lol time will tell

Well I don't play ring games online, because I don't trust people. It's too easy for people to cheat with IM and webcams. So I play strictly SNG's, because I can't lose more than $5 or $10 at a time, and there's no real money to be made by cheaters at SNG's. In my opinion anyway, I could be wrong. So can you clear these bonuses by playing SNG's?

Must be. I tried three times, and each time when I took the second seat, the screen and mouse froze and stayed froze until I turned off the power.
I also notice that I get automatically removed from any waiting list if I already have a seat at one table.

Without multitable, the 100rh to $10 ratio, and my NL25 comfort level, I'm really not planning to clear any more of the $500 bonus.

I like to play the Absolute .05/.10 tables while waiting for the Gauntlet, though. A real confidence builder!

Check the T&Conditions at Absolute. Some sites don't count SNG fees as rake toward bonuses. Or just play one and then look at the cashier. If you earned any points they'll show up immediately in the lower left corner. Just don't get confused between "RakedHands" and "APs" (or whatever they're called - Absolute Bonus Points). APs are in the cashier at the upper right. You earn APs quicker than RHs for the Bonus. You can use the APs as entry fees into certain FreeRoll Tourneys I think.

I read up on Absolutes website. I will get 1 point for every $1 I spend for a SNG entry fee. Takes 100 points to get $10. That's alot of sit n gos for $10. Maybe I'll have to venture out in the rings, man I don't wanna do that.

Ya, you only get 1 bonus point for every $1 tourney fee... so basically u'd have to play in 100 tourneys to get $10... Spend $600 earn (700 with fee) to get $10 back lol.

If you are there to clear the bonus Ring is the onl way to go. Just head my advice don't play out of your BR trying to gain $50 or whatever. It's not worth it in the long run. But if you are properly BR'd for the 25NL you can slowly clear your required raked hands playing here.

And yes the ARP (Absolute Reward points) are not the same thing. These can be used to buy things from their store or to enter in some Special Tourneys (100 ARP points $50 payout tourney, 200ARP $100 pay out, 500 ARP $250 pay out.) I plan to play in the 500 ARP one soon. Seems like the best chance as there is about 100-120 that sign up for this one, while the lower ones seem to get at least 200-240 each time.
