For those of you that don't know yet, PP really f' ed up their SnGs with this software update. Instead of starting with 800 chips, it is now 2,000. And instead of blinds increasing every 10 hands, it is now every 10 minutes. Played 2 last night-took 45 minutes to have first person eliminated! An entire tourney used to last around 45 mins for gods sakes. Also, played a MTT last night. They started the hand for hand pause when field was down to 140-way too early! I am shocked that they made these changes! I would have thought they would have speeded things up if anything to get more $$. Oh well, I basically only play SnG and MTT so I guess that means so long PP. Anyone have any thoughts where i should deposit the $$ I have withdrawn from PP?

I agree with Hiltz...play the speed table if you want a faster game.
I am actually liking the 2000 chips...its good practice to learn to be patient and play tight...especially if you like to play tournaments.
The blinds start at a higher level too...so once you hit the 50 / 100 level you can also practice a more aggressive style due to the higher amount of starting chips...that is if you have not lost 1/2 of them by than.
Overall, my only dissapointment is that I wish they gave a face lift to skin / table look.

Last i knew, the speeds on PP were only $5 or $10 for limit holdem. As of last night, no speeds at all. If i want to play a tourney, i will play a tourney. No big deal, i am just gonna play else where. But i disagree, the 2000 chips in the SNG room leads to fishing cuz they wont bust out in 2 hands now.

I've always been a fan of pokerstars for sng's. They work pretty well for clearing bonuses, and 1500 starting chips is just about right IMO. I dont play cash games there, but sng's are good.
Plus I'm thinking that the house fee is smaller, but I could be mistaken.
