To make a long story short I got a little too crazy and real stupid last weekend on party poker and lost a lot more money than I actually have in my bank account (since I was using IGM-PAY they kept on funding my account even though I didn't have it in there). So now I owe this money and really want to pay it back but it will take me a long time in order to get this money in my possession since I still have to pay bills and part of my tuition. I have told myself I am never going to play online again as it was too easy for me too loose such a large amount of money in a small period. So my questions are, does anyone know of someone who has been in a similiar situation and could I get into legal trouble or anything if I don't pay this debt off to party poker for a long time??? I am really worried and any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you so much.

Because it takes 2 to 3 days for a transaction to go through a checking account they give you a credit limit or so. So two days after I lost the money there was nothing in my account when party tried to take it.

Party is probably taking a risk here so they can get you gambling on their site as soon as possible, kinda like the credit card companies do. This is the kind of cost of buisness thing the rake covers...
Writing bad checks (to gamble of all things) reflects very poorly on your character. Some food for thought as you figure out what kind of adult you are.
BTW: Party is a Canadian company, this probably will show up on your credit records. If you ever want to see an interest rate below 15-20%++ in the next 7 years, deal with this.

I agree totally with what you are saying, I made a big and stupid mistake and just wish I could pay this damn thing off and be done with gambling on the internet and this whole fiasco forever, but its not that simple. Thanks for the help though as this is an extremely frustrating experience for me.

Your best bet is to phone them directly explain what happened (You hit tilt and went crazy). You don't currently have the money to pay but you do want the debt paid. Make it clear there is no way you can pay it all at once, they should arrange an affordable plan for you to pay it back.
Sorry to hear about the craziness
Avoid Online Poker at all costs you have a serious disapline problem and that is one of the most, if not the most, important things needed to be successful at poker!!!
