I'm a 100$ NL hold 'em player on Party/Empire (I had one account for each skin, so two accounts total). A couple weeks ago a guy I play with a lot online tells me about this rakeback program that he's in. He says that if I sign up under a new account using his bonus codes, he will get 20% of the rake I pay which he can then give back to me every month. I tell him I'm interested and he sends me an email about how to create a new PartyPoker account and enter in a certain bonus code and I should be eligable for the program.
So my first time around, I make the new account, and try to use the same bank account as my old account (I didnt use Netteller at the time) and the program wont let me. I call up PartyPoker's support and they tell me that its against the rules to have the same bank account for two different PartyPoker accounts, and they close down my new account (but I still have the old one).
I didnt attempt again for a while, and eventually I made a Neteller account and verified my bank account with it etc. I took 100$ from my PartyPoker account and put it into my Neteller account. I then made a new account again (and used the same rakeback bonus codes), but still used the same name address etc. and tried to put the 100$ from my Neteller account into my new account. It worked, but an hour later both accounts were frozen by PartyPoker and after calling them up I was informed I can't use the same name/address with two different PartyPoker accounts. I then found out I also can't use the same Neteller account for two different PartyPoker accounts.
I then sent in a scan of my Driver's License and they unlocked my account and closed down the new account (putting the 100$ back in my old one). Peeved at the situtation and worried they'd trick hijack my money in the near future, I withdrew all my money from both my PartyPoker and EmpirePoker account into my Netteller account (one of these cash-outs has already shown up, the other im still waiting on).
I am still interested in trying to get this rakeback program working but need some help..
So my questions are:
1. Is this rakeback program on Party and Empire for real? Does this other guy get 20% of my rake if I sign up again using his bonus code?
2. Should I worry about him trying to scam me out of the money once I signed up and not pay me the rake back like he promised?
3. If this is for real, how should I go about fooling PartyPoker and creating a new ID? (I need to do this since the rakeback program is only intended for "new" customers) The customer rep I talked to there warned against using the same Neteller account to deposit funds into any new PartyPoker account I or a "friend" creates. Can I change my Netteller account ID and then try it using a different name and date of birth for my PartyPoker account (such as the name and date of birth of a friend of mine who lives in the same house as me)?
4. What info about your Neteller account does PartyPoker have access to?
5. Are there any other good rakeback programs on other sites I should look into?
Thanks a lot and hope you can answer my Q's..

You won't be able to sign up for rakeback on party poker or empire poker. Yes it is for real but you must have a new account. If you like the party look they have many other skins you can play on with rakeback. Check out eurobet. If you really wanna get some money back with a higher percentage then check out truepoker.

you can also find better deals than that.
i was getting 27.5 percent on party but they just ended thier rakeback.
Party will be ending all rakeback on thier skins by the end of this year.
I think eurobet might survive so I would look at them for a party skin.

Party's starting to crack down really hard on rakeback, but if you are interested, you ARE going to have to close down your original account. Then make a new one. You won't have problems that way.
Basically, the way they're tracking you down with two accounts is that you are using information that remains common to both accounts and they track that kind of stuff.

It's against Party's licensing agreement to have any kind of rakeback program with any of their skins. You can probably get away with it for a little while with Eurobet or Multipoker - until Party can crack down on everyone.
PartyPoker's software/network is licensed to these other skins or entities. Having a rakeback with any of these skins is against Party's licensing agreement. Of course, the party skins can try to ignore that this is going on, but then they may suffer the same fate as PokerNow - who's license has been revoked and PartyPoker has taken the room over.
A PartyPoker skin and any skin affiliate is not allowed to offer rakeback programs - so they are risking their relationships as well. I would be careful about attempting to do this, and certainly don't be surprised if, at some point, your rakeback guy just disappears.
