So, I started picking up my online play again this past week. Man, I am stoked I just figured something new out for my game.

You know what's better than 3 simulataneous ring games at Party's $25 NL tables?

4.

LOL...don't know why I didn't think of that sooner, I just made myself 25% more effective!!! 2 at Empire, 2 at Party, no one can escape my presence now! I had one guy that I busted get off my table, only to take a seat at my other Empire table (where I have a different handle)...LOL!!

Anyway, to state the obvious, 20" monitors rule and taxes suck.

Party on guys, wreck em at the tables. Later.

HAHA! I've run up to 4 at a time, but trying to do it on a 17" monitor 1024x768 makes it reallly tough to see. Hard to keep up with the action when you can only see 2 inches of any given window.

My dual monitor setup at work is much better for this task.
Primary
A 19" NEC LCD @ 1280x1024
secondary monitor
17" NEC LED @ 1024x1280 It's rotated 90 degrees and works perfect for Stacking Poker windows above each other.

Wait a second, how do you get logged into PP and EP at the same time from the same machine? They don't stop you? I guess they wouldn't as long as your not sitting at the same table.

should move up to two 21" monitors. then you could conceivably run 8 tables!

Hey, I thought that this could fly as a legitimate hold'em strategy... play lots o' tables is a great strategy!

Empire and Party normally does not allow you to sign up to both, but it is totally possible and actually allowed. When I did it, they called me up on my home phone to verify my info. They knew I already had an active account at Party, and that I signed up to Empire, and then they said it was cool. I wrote about that subject here:

http://www.flopturnriver.com/empire-...nup-bonus.html

Anyway, on my monitor, I have all four tables up without any overlapping. I have a television right next to my monitor so in case the action is slow (on all four tables), I can catch Da Ali G Show or WPT or something cool. I also crank some MP3's while I'm playing my 4 tables and watching television - Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Modest Mouse, Cypress Hill, Beastie Boys, Stone Temple Pilots are on my current playlist.

Media junkie?

Ashtray and cocktail glass go in between computer monitor and television.

That's my hog heaven set up. Only thing I'm missing are the exotic dancers on the pool table...but I'm pretty sure that would be the straw that broke the camel's back with regards to my girlfriend, so I guess that's not necessary. (LOL, I'm just kidding Gina!! Are you reading this?!)

2 on party and 2 on empire? A few months back I would play 4 at a time whether I was on party or empire. Do they have a 2 table max now?

At first I did it to clear bonuses like super ass fast and then realized I was really playing a lot better with 4 up because you see so many cards you usually fold the maybes because u are seeing so many great hands. I just think for me it keeps me playing the great hands and keeps me out of a lot of "maybe" situations.

19" monitor is about as small as you can go I think. Everything is like corner to corner with a tad of overlap. I do have 2 monitors with a dual monitor video card but my other is a 17 so I havent tried screwing with it because I think it would just look so lopsided.

What resolution will accomplish this, 1600x1200?

Yeah, I'm running 1600 x 1200 and it's on Windows 2000. On XP, at least on my co-workers laptop who runs XP, the Party/Empire window takes up more space, so even if his laptop was capable of running 1600x1200, it would overlap.

I thought there was a limit of 3 tables on Party and Empire. At least there used to be...

I never play less than 4 tables at a time, usually 4 NL50 six max on an party or party skin and a couple 1-2 or 2-4 limit or .25/.50 or .50/1 NL ring games on another site (Pokerstars, Interpoker, or Bet365 currently). I have tried 8-tabling several times running party and empire simultaneously, but it can get really hectic, confusing, and stressful and it's damn near impossible to do it playing all 6-max tables.

Well you started playing awhile before me so there probably was at one time. It worked the first time I tried though and I havent played on empire and party in awhile but im assumming it still does. Shit it might even let you play more than 4 at once.

You can play up to 4 tables at once on Party Poker and all the Party skins.
