Hopefully someone can answer this for me. I saw a post that talked about multiple accounts being illegal and having accounts "flagged", etc.

Here is my delima, about a year ago, i signed up and played Party/Empire, took advantage of bonuses, etc. I got sick of the sites and bailed, playing only PokerStars for about 6-8 months straight (and taking some time off from poker altogether). I recently signed back up at both Empire and Party and took advantages of bonuses again. While i wanted the bonus, i also had forgotten what my old Usernames/Passwords were and basically said screw it (im pretty sure i cashed out all my money on both accounts). Now the problem is, I have found my old email accounts with the usernames and am able to reset the PW's, BUT, in the last month ive created new accounts with new usernames (on a new PC/Work PC respectively) and i want to keep the new accounts.

SO (i know, long post, sorry!)....do i have anything to worry about? Should i just forget about the old accounts and focus on the new ones? should i contact Empire/Party?

Bottom line, i 1) dont want to get in trouble and have them take my loot, and 2) I could care less about the old accounts (even if there is <$20 in them, i could care lesS) and just dont want to have my new accounts suspended, deleted etc.

Can anyone shed some light on this ?

I don't have any information to offer, only a decision tree.

You already commited the no-no -- Double Accounts. And you benefited financially -- double bonuses.
The possible penalty is complete freeze on 4 accounts, and future blocking. That's bad.
You can tell them or not tell them. Tell them, they'll require a good story, a return of the duplicate bonus money, and may still freeze your accounts. Don't tell them?, they may find out later if you use the old email accounts for other partyskins, or use the same personal info. They might find out anyway.

My opinion? Don't ever go back to the old ones. Don't call attention to them. Don't use the email for gaming, don't try and get any money out or the old accounts, leave those old accounts alone. If the dual accounts are ever discovered, switching back to the old accounts would be even more suspect than just admitting fault, saying you forgot about the old accounts and started over.

thanks for the advice. Not sure if its worth mentioning but the same personal info is used in both (i know, im stupid, kick me) as well as the same NeTeller account. Im contemplating just taking all the money out of the active accounts and saying screw it to EP/PP. I definitely DONT want it to come to that, and i know i cant be the only one in this spot, wanna do the right thing but at the same time its a bit of a moral delima - sure i've benefitted twice, but so have they (rake from hands to clear bonus), and while i like the soft tables and am profitable, i would have no problem finding another site if the downside was that ALL my money (meaning more than what the original bonuses were) was locked up. I dont see how they could do that (keep money that wasnt part of the bonuses that i benefitted from) but it sounds like you know more about it.

I definitely DONT want the accounts to be frozen...aside from the bonuses there is money in there that is mine.

Should i just withdraw all funds and never look back?

OK, that's new info. How about this. You seem to want to put it behind you. Withdraw the money, then 'fess up and ask them to please cancel one account. If you are willing to make a break with both lucrative rooms, it won't matter what their response is. They might even assist you to have just one account, but don't hold your breath. But that would keep it from bothering you, and they couldn't lock up your funds if they were already withdrawn. Go play another PSkin while they make up their minds.

Okay...so i emailed both EP/PP and let them know the deal, that i was trying to do the right thing and get it resolved without getting to the point of having them lock everything up. End result - PP hasnt emailed back yet.

EP emailed back with instructions on how to change a PW (lol...GREAT) but it did indicate at the bottom "Your account DaBigPoker (old account name) is closed and is no longer accessible". Guess that solves that one....

PP on the other hand is what im somewhat worried about. I actually changed my PW about a week or so before creating the new account (didnt play though, and hadnt played for at least 8-10 months before that). I let them know that i didnt even think the account was open, and that since I had a new email and wanted to change the name, I figured it was best to open a new account. Ill keep you updated on what the outcome of that is.

Now...the question is...the EP account is recitified, their support didnt seem to care or even read the email (GOOD, because if they do something later on, i have a paper trail showing that they didnt care and I did my due diligence). The only thing i fear at this point is that the PP folks may cause a stink, and lock up the funds in my EP account - not good since im currently playing 90% over there, have a large sum of my bankroll there, and am trying to clear the damn bonus.

I guess ill put it into overdrive tonight, clear the damn thing, then w/d and go elsewhere.

put the poker in overdrive last night, cleared the bonus at EP and cashed out. Now im trying to grind out an SnG at party to get my measley $28 up over $50 so i can pull it. EP is now empty so i fear nothing there, i WD using NeTeller and am preparing to push it into UB or some other place tonight to continue the whoring (got a kid coming in December and a wife fixated on expensive baby stuff!). Thanks for the continued advice...still havent heard from PP but like i said, once i go bust or crack $50 - im pullin out and ill find a new skin while they decide what to do.
