well today i had some trouble with Absolute Poker because my account got temporarily suspended.... im not exactly sure what i did to get suspended.....but hopefully i can pick up my $100 profit i made there in the past couple weeks and pick up a new poker site. ive read some reviews on all the big sites like empire, poker stars, pacific and such. i was wondering what the better sites are for SnG and MTT, because this is more of what i play....dont play ring games much unless im trying to clear a bonus... so any helpful suggestions will be appreciated!

Poker Stars is the big whoop for SNGS and MTTs.
Dont play the 5/1 at PP, the rake is huge comparative to the buyin.

If you like Sit n Go's and Multi's go for Empire, or Party Poker, and hook yourself up with Poker Prophecy.
You have to adapt your game a bit on account of only 800 chips stacks in the lower limit tourny's (anything under $50), but with the stats Poker Prophecy kicks out, it's great.
Also, in the multi's at Party, they are loaded with tons of player. With 1000 entrants, you can count on tons of guppies throwing their chips away early. With the blinds moving only every 15 minutes, there is adequete time to build a nice stack off these minnows for the crucial later rounds.
Just my 2 cents.
My 3 cents tells me to tell you to play them all though. Once your bank grows, so should your repetoire of card rooms.

We're working on something but it is still early. We'll give out more details just as soon as we can.

What's Poker Prophecy? Is it like PlayerView?
I am foolishly running a Win98 laptop (which I bought out of the newspaper on the cheap for the express purpose of playing poker online...for some reason, none of the sites support mac). Anyway, Playerview doesn't support Win98. Maybe this Prophecy will work for me. Gimme a link so I can look into it.
I can't wait until I can make enough money playing poker to afford a decent machine.

poker prophecy is a database that tracks tournament results for Party players. When you begin a tourney you can enter their name and it will give you some stats for them based on the hand histories that prohpecy has been able to obtain. Google it and you will find the link.
In my opinion it's a rediculous waste of money. If I am faced with a tough decision at a table, I want to be able to make the right decision based on observations that I have personally made with my own eyes. I dont want to become dependant on some website that's telling me some other player is a maniac. If I call the wrong hand at the wrong time and lose then I learn from it and become a better player. You won't learn very much by making decisions based on what you see on poker prophecy.
