I fall to easily for conspiracy theories, so take this with a grain of salt....
We have had the advantage of linked knowlege about Party skin bonuses on FTR (or other sites) that I can seldom find on the skin itself until a day before, or the same day, the bonus starts. If they don't publish the bonus, this would be a very clever trick to expose the worst offenders.
But I doubt it. If you do the math, even when we are clearing bonuses the poker room makes money on rake. At 10x they make enough money that they can pay the bonus and pay affiliates too (for rakeback.) And if I were them, I wouldn't find bonus abusers like this, I would just check their negative value compare to their number of deposits. If there was multiple deposits AND negative value, I'd cut 'em. I wouldn't offer them one more bonus.
BUT please consider... there are other rooms that offer bonuses. 10x (in a week?) isn't much of an offer, and if we all bite on 10x offers, then we will see more 12x offers, and 20x offers, and fewer 5x and 7x offers. Ask yourself, at what point will you just go play at another room? I encourage you to vote with your feet and skip this one (unless you have rakeback there.)

if everyone on this site contributed as much time to improving their game as they do to searching for bonus and talking about them... they probably would win more money that way...myself included!

Empire actually emailed me to tell me about this reload, i don't see how any bad could come of it.

I read that they closed some accounts which received that same e-mail. Some are even claiming that they got substantial sums of money confiscated without any real explanation why.

That's a very good point. Why would they e-mail us about the promotion if they were going to ban us from the site if we used it?
That'd be like me inviting someone over to my house for a party and then kicking their ass for showing up.
That's just not right.

No way I am depositing anything into any Party skin before this blows over. I'll keep what I have at Eurobet as I know I am positive MGR for them. This whole ordeal is incredibly poorly handled by Empir.e poker and will probably do some long term damage to their credibility.

I had my entire BR at empire. thats where I play most of my sngs. I like the color scheme the best. I just pulled it all out just in case. Ill keep it in my epassporte account for safe keeping. Frozen account stories make me very uneasy.

Hmm, well i just logged into my empire account with no problem. I've got this poker now reload to finish up and i'll probably deposit 200 in empire on tuesday and see what happens. If they did pull some funny shit i can imagine i could tell a lot of people very quickly. Still it's not the best bonus i've yet seen and i've got work and a poker stars bonus to play so i'm not desperate. Also i note interpoker have introduced smaller limits so i might start picking up their 90 a month bonuses as well.

Don't you feel this whole episode shows that pokerstars are ahead of the game with a personal presence behind their customer service, ie Lee Jones. Empire/Party have such shitty customer service, i HATE the pre generated responses they always send you regardless of what you write, if they get rid of bonuses as well they are going to lose their number one spot quite quickly.

????? Why shame? Just healthy paranoia. Let me ask this:- Have Party skin play requirements on bonuses gotten longer or shorter?
Have other, non-Party skin pokerrooms' play requirements on bonuses gotten longer or shorter?
Have you noticed the buzz about newer rooms that offer unique bonuses?
As online poker growth begins to plateau, what kind of room will survive, and which ones will you frequent?
The poker boom is allowing all sorts of rooms to enter the market, and early-boom rooms are well positioned to shape the preferences of new customers entering the market. As rooms saturate the market, and new signups drop off, competition will cause some rooms to become less scrupulous, or to otherwise tighten the purse strings. I will argue that the savvy player, the discriminating shopper, will keep generous rooms going, and that the rooms that keep "changing the deal" in their favor will not do as well. The process, the message, may as well start now.

Summary -- Conspiracy theory that Empire is using this unusual reload to trap bonus whores and cancel their accts.
Support? -- a handful of blocked accounts mentioned at 2+2 & BW's

My point was just that free money is free money. I will continue to whore Party/Skins bonuses as long as they are offered because they are the easiest to clear in my opinion of any current poker room. When that changes I wll change my tune, but not before.

A good attitude
Sorry for the rant. You are right. I've hardly put a dent in my PS bonus.
