I have been playing at Pokerroom.com but I am fed up with the amount of bad beats. Once and a while it's okay but this may be the tilt talking four times in about 10 minutes isn't. My Pocket aces loose to a king 6 off suit, my ace king looses to ace jack, my jacks loose to ace 8 and my ace queen looses to ace 2 and ace 6. I'm trying to build my stack up and I can't because I keep getting bad beats. Does anybody know of any other sites for mac?

Check 'n Raise supports the Mac, from what I hear. I might give them a try because I'm around more Macs than Windows machines so it would make things a bit easier for me...

Checknraise will support macs from around january. There Java client currently sucks out when loading on variuos different combinations of Java and OS X. seems only Windows Internet Explorer players can use it. Another option is Virtual PC, but onky if you have a speedy mac. My aging iBook runs ladbrokespoker (a fairly minimalist site) at a snails pace, only just playable. NT4 is probably the best OS to use with it, as it isn;nt quite so bloated/crappy as XP.

BugsysClub runs on Mac OS X. Go to pokerpages.com to download the client. It's mostly tournaments and NL, so if you want ring games, tough luck. Also the bonuses take eons to clear if you are playing low limit.
The interface is pretty nice, but to see hand histories you have to get them emailed to you, which is pretty inconvenient. Also, the player notes feature kind of sucks... but I guess that's true for all sites.

Hey,
I like the sites above - mostly play pokerroom and bugsy's - but now I play a bit at Hollywood.
Check out my site at Poker-Mac. I've put out a full list of online sites, other mac poker software (you guys know about Mac Poker Pro??) educational resources, books, more...
see you at the tables,
pokermac

It's the tilt talking.
I don't know about Mac support, but I haven't yet found a bad-beat-free site.

two days ago gamesgrid did a dedicated downloadable mac client for os 10.3.9 and higher.
the good news is hand histories are available through the cashier, the bad news is they aren't downloaded to your hard drive, so if you're one of those poker tracker analyzing hardcores, you have to make repeated requests over time.
the traffic is light and mostly ring game play, although rgp is having the rgp open there, so maybe that'll pick up tourney play.
they're not bad beat free ... wish they were ... i think.
(and am i the only person in the world that thinks their poker table looks like an ipod?)

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Poker Tracker doesn't run on the mac so this is a non -issue for mac users.
Bugsys has the best mac client, but seems to me that I do a lot of waiting and the only games you'll find are NLHE occasionally some Omaha games get started.

Actually, last I checked, Pacific was supported by a Mac OS. You should definitely check that out.

Pacific does have a java client that works for mac. Probably where I'll make my next deposit. I've checked it out and the interface is pretty good, just sucks that they don't keep stats or hand histories.
