I have built my BR up to about 600 playing SNGs on iPoker. Now I am looking to switch to Prima because I got 30% rb on a site there (Battlefield). All of the Prima reviews that I read seem somewhat outdated and I am wondering what to expect at 20NL on Prima. (I will play FR to start).
I know people will obviously be fishy since its such low stakes... but is it worth it to play at Prima 20NL?

Hi,
I played on Prima lots of ring games and I didnt like it. There is a strange mix of very tight players and complete maniacs. You will have 10 players where you raise 3x BB with AA and get no caller and on other tables 4 people are all-in preflop with JTs and pocket 77. I really didnt like playing there, I mad much more profit on ring games at ipoker sites.

thanks for ur reply showtime !!
Anyone else have an opinion on Prima Poker nl games?
At low stakes it is hard to clear bonuses, so my 30% rakeback should provide me with some extra income if I play at prima.

if youre struggling for bonues on prima you havent looked hard enough!
Oddly enough, if you google prima poker youll get their homepage via micro gaming with a list of their sites. If you look hard enough youll still find bonuese that are dependant on playin g raked hands rather than points/rake etc.
Same applies for the boss media skins (google boss media) and on their homepage youll have to look through the links for easy to clear bonuses.
Ring games on prima arent what they used to be (is anywhere?) but youll still find a fair share of bad players.
I know you may want to play full ring but the 6max games are full of donkey half stacks who'll donate with any pt hand they make versus anything you have them beaten with.
Sure, youll find some campers like any site but its a pretty easy place to make money.
Youre rb deal is contributed so it isnt worth much at those stakes, id still prefer you to be looking at bonus whoring.
IOm not around much at the mo otherwise id draw you a list of which sites to hit

What about pokerstars? I was previously thinking about moving there for SNGs but now I want to go back to ring and their traffic is amazing. Also, I have not yet signed up there in the past and can take advantage of their bonus. Even tho their rap is that they are hard there must be plenty of fish at the low limits rite?

stars is a double edged sword.
Sure, with 100k players every night there are going to be fish in any game you play, the problem is that the majority of any game is full of players who can play fairly decently.
On the sites i like to play, i can sit at a 6max 100nl 200nl game and find 6 fish with no half decent players. On stars you actually need to search for the fish.
Add in that fpps are good for buying books etc if you want these things then sure stars has its strong points.
Its just the old argument, do you wan to be good or make money. Many players have gone the good route, i preferred the money route.
Your choice.

If you haven't already, I'd check out Everest. It's the fishiest site I've played on at 25NL and 50NL. It's easy to clear the bonuses that they offer. The only drawback is they don't offer rakeback. Definitely worth checking out though.

Well i just got a 40% reload offer up to $100 from party so im gonna go there for 25NL.
I know they switched their bonus structure so you have to earn PP and not just raked hands but it is still easier than the majority of sites to clear, correct?
Thanks
