I was playing a rebuy tourney last week and for some reason it wouldn't let me add-on during the first break. The following conversation with suport took around 35 minutes. You would think their support would understand how a rebuy works

Tyler: rebuys for tournaments can only be done during a set of periods. It cant be done all the time. One moment sir while i check it through

HERO: It was the add on during the break

HERO: 2 minutes into the break
Tyler: 2 minutes before the break starts?
HERO: no, during the break
HERO: about half way into the break
Tyler: which break was that on? ex, first, second break, etc?
HERO: the first break
Tyler: and was it your first add on request or second?
HERO: first
HERO: it didnt give me a chance to try again
Tyler: if you were performing an add on, it can only be done during play, and not during break. Only rebuys can be done during break. After the break, it can not be done again
HERO: that is incorrect
Tyler: however, if you have the hand #, i can look up for the hand
HERO: the above is incorrect
Tyler: add on is an addition to rebuys
HERO: yes I know
HERO: I fully understand how a rebuy tournament works
HERO: but the add on did not work

HERO: during the first break, I clicked the "add on" button and it didnt work
HERO: there is no hand numer
Tyler: no wait a minute. sorry sir i forgot to ask....
Tyler: is this Frenzy Freezout youre referring to?
HERO: no
HERO: the rebuy
Tyler: the tournament type, was it Frenzy Freeze Out tournament?
HERO: ID=49608927

Tyler: ok
Tyler: one moment please while i take a look
Tyler: did you perform the add on after or before the rebuy period ends? Meaning, after 1 hour?
HERO: during the break after the rebuy period

How did you keep that conversation going? I would have given up and tried to get someone else later, the guy is obviously clueless.

I was seriously finding it difficult not to get abusive but had to keep my cool because I was deep in an MTT at the time

the guy doesn't even know what an add-on is?
wow.. I would be really pissed of if I would have gotten deep into the tournament and unable to buy an add-on
let us know the end of the story, i'm excited to hear about it
