Anyone ever tried this room? I signed up for an account. I didn't deposit real money yet. Right now I am playing the freerolls to hopefully start a roll without depositing since my roll is stuck on stars. If anyone has deposited here and cashed out please let me know.
Thanks

I think they are the same as Carbon. I play there, but have not deposited yet. I know that they are offering 35% rakeback right now.

Just deposited on Lock Poker. I'm looking to get a free iPad from an affiliate.
Lock Poker features 35% rakeback, an awesome 'Battle of Ronin' promotion (which is basically a rake race), and an extra 1% in rakeback from VIP Points. The free iPad is just a kicker that doesn't even hit you MGR.
Depositing is pretty easy. You can even use an American Visa debit card.
I haven't withdrawn yet so I'll update this post when I do.
The affiliate is TheNuts. I signed up through them. If you wanna show me some love, add to my rep or use this link to signup. I get some commission for this so no sneakiness here. Also, I'll be willing to answer any additional questions regarding deposits/withdrawals/etc.
I'll be helping players who sign up through my referral link deposit onto Lock Poker. This offer only stands for players depositing through my link.
PM me for more information.

I signed up with lock on Saturday, tried to deposit and the card was rejected. I was really impressed with their CS because I received this from them and without initiating any contact or questions:

Hello there,
We see that are having trouble depositing and would like to offer you another alternative; we have a separate Cashier in our Casino and you are welcome to try to deposit via your Visa/MasterCard there, then transfer the funds to your Poker account. Below are step by step directions for you:
1. Click the Casino Tab in your Poker Client on the far right corner. The Casino will launch in a new browser.
2. Click on the deposit tab on the top navigation bar in the casino lobby. Then an overlay will come up. Click on DEPOSIT NOW.
3. Select the Express Payment option in the Deposit page to deposit via Visa, MC or Debit card. Do NOT select the Credit Card option.
4. Once approved. Go back to the Casino Lobby and click the Transfer tab to transfer the funds to your Poker account.
NOTE : If you qualify, you will STILL receive the 200% bonus but it has to be manually applied to please send an email and we will apply the bonus for you ASAP.
Or alternatively we've generated an exclusive invitation for you to setup an account with QuickTender/UseMyWallet.
Making a deposit to UseMyWallet is fast and easy, with many payment methods available including Credit Cards.
Getting Started
It's simple to register and even simpler to use! Follow the easy steps below to activate your account:
1. Copy and paste the URL to your browser address bar:

Tried to deposit, refused. CapitalOne called all worried.
"Did you recently attempt to make an online transaction for $111?"
"Yes"
"Did you know the money is going outside the country!?!?"
"Yes."
".......Okay, I'll go ahead and approve it for the next time you make a transaction."
Deposit success. Josh9477 if anyone wants to say hi. Boog, I hope you get some monies for it.

Does today's anouncement by Merge signal the continuation of the Black Friday nightmare?
On a different note:
How many tables running at one time will Lock support?
I was only running 3 last night while I was getting used to the software; fml: timed out pre w/QQ, and a miss-click to call a lg 3bet. Even with the time spent getting oriented I was surprised at how soft the games were. Playing about 21/18 I was up 17bb/100 over an lol sample.(<500 hands)

Holy F$ck! While playing on LOCK last night I noticed the chat bubbles for the first time.
Some dude shoved on the turn when the flush completed and I folded TPGK. After I folded he typed in "coward" so I typed in " ". A chat bubble appeared and some little smiley face dude shot a rasberry at the villain. I laughed for a half hour. That's gonna be great to put someone on tilt.

Normally I don't chat but I liked the results a few hands later. I'll need to make sure that it doesn't affect me the same way.

@ Rizen:
You may not be able to answer but:
How secure can American players be, in light of today's indictments of the Yatahey network, that we will be able to continue to play on the Merge network?

Can you have RB accounts with different skins on Merge similar to how you could sign up and get the bonus offer on UB and AB?

...it also says somewhere in that thread that you can make multiple rakeback accounts, only you have stop playing on that site for 60 days or something before you can switch to a different rakeback accnt.

No, you are not allowed multiple RB accounts. If you have an account that has been inactive on a skin for 90 days you may sign up with RB on another skin.

I am considering depositing to your site. I have two BIG questions first.
1. How is your deposit/withdrawl system different from the (former) big three; pokerstars, fulltilt, and UB? In other words, how do I as an american player know that the same thing won't happen to you (and my bankroll) that happened to the big three (and recently Doyle's Room as well as several others)? I don't want some lame explanation about the UIGA not applying to poker, we all know that...apparently that don't matter to the DOJ. Tell me the actual difference between how YOU process deposits/withdrawls and how the big three did it.
2. Are you willing to accept checks for deposit and withdrawls, not merely e-check, but actual paper checks. I am willing to deposit/withdraw this way if you are. It seems the most safe, though time-consuming.
=
I am a long time, full-time player and need a site to play on. Convince me please, that I can do so at your site.
Many thanks,
xxxxxxx xxxxxx

Hi, xxxxxxx
We can not guaranteed anything I'm afraid, but have put the appropriate steps in place to ensure we stay online for our players.
Check is an available withdrawal method but not for deposits. The deposit options we have are Visa/Mastercard, Click2Pay and Western Union/Moneygram.
All our best,
Elle

Elle,
Thanks for answering question #2 at least. How about at least giving question #1 an honest answer...and "we can not guarantee anything..." doesn't answer my question, which I will reiterate:
Tell me the actual difference between how YOU process deposits/withdrawls and how the big three did it.
If there is no actual difference, that's fine, tell me that. And then I can make an informed decision based upon that. What do you mean by having put "the appropriate steps in place to ensure we stay online for our players"? That strikes me as purposefully vague (essentially meaningless) and believe me I've had about enough of that from full tilt as I wait for my money, and wait....
If you are liable to have the same indictments as full tilt, stars, and UB, because you all process transactions in basically similar ways, as a potential customer I have every right to ask about that, and receive an honest and complete answer.
I won't deposit with you most likely, in that case, but I will certainly respect your company for your honesty, and would strongly consider playing there in a more poker-friendly future environment.
Many thanks,
xxxxxxx xxxxx
--
so...I'll guess we'll wait and see. I have a feeling there is no real difference and a lock poker shutdown is an eventual inevitability. I hope I'm wrong, but I sure won't be putting any money there in the meantime. Unless I get REAL answers that address the actual issues involved. No more shadowy, vague near-assurances about "steps put on place" --blah on that. I wasn't asking for guarantees, merely to be intelligently informed of the differences (if any) between Lock and the BIG (indicted) THREE. That's what none of these sites have come forth with on their own, and what every American player should be asking them.

Just an FYI to everyone I'm getting ready to fly to Las Vegas, I'm teaching at the WPT Boot Camp Champions Event this weekend. I will be doing my best to check on this thread and keep up with PMs but I may be slower than usual until next Tuesday when I'm back home. I know I still have pending PMs and some things to reply to on this thread, I promise I'll do that ASAP.

.... I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to help them build the best online poker room possible and really feeling like an advocate of the players at a room that truly understands that players are it's greatest resource and asset, and not just a source of revenue.
